Chapter 4 : the dinner
The rain poured down on a little town in Washington on a dreary May day.
Rachel awake with the dreadful memories of yesterday. All day, she wanted to was crawling into a ball and die. How had she been so stupid? But what really hurt was that she actually thought that Jason liked her which cut her deep. Now all she wanted to do was wrap her fingers around him and strangle him.
"Out of bed, I want to tell you something !" He father said excitedly. "Oh and before I forget, how was
your date?" He added.
Rachel groaned," it was fine! What ever it is , I don't care!" She barked.
"What's wrong?" Her father asked.
"Nothing!" She snapped. "Just drop it!"
"Fine, but get dress and come to breakfast," her father commanded.
"Fine!" She said as she got out of bed. She changed out of her p-jays into a baggy sweatshirt and sweatpants.
"Welcome to the world of the living," A women spoken to Rachel as she walked into the kitchen, " I thought you would sleep all day," she laughed.
"Who are you?" Rachel asked rudely.
"Rachel!" Her father snapped.
"That's ok, I am Vanessa. And your Rachel, your father has told all about you, I think that's the only thing he could talk about," she said with a smile.
"Hi, so you must have been the date he was on," she rudely commented.
"Yes," Her father said, " that's what I what to talk about."
"Ok, talk,"she barked.
"Well, your father told me that you are still adjusting and that it will be hard for you if he started to date so were going to take it slow, and we were wondering it is ok?" Vanessa stated.
"I am not my father's parents I don't care," Rachel answered. "I going for a jog."
"Wait before you go Vanessa invited use to dinner, would you like to go?" Her father asked. Rachel shrugged. She couldn't stand there anymore. She bolted out the door .
Rain pelting Rachel face. Stoked she ran. Ran from that awful house, ran from that women, ran from Jason and his girlfriend, but couldn't run from the hurt that her chest was enduring.

As she run a flash strikes into front of her.
"It's ok, bumblebee, shhh," her mother whispered as she rocked five year old Rachel. "It just a bad dream, shhh," she smoothed Rachel's hair and place her chin on Rachel head. Wrapping her hands around her daughter as she shock with fear.
"I...I show.... I show you mommy..." Rachel stuttered.
"Shhh, wanna hear a story?" her mother asked. Rachel nodded. "Once upon their was princess named Rachel. When she was born her mother know she was special from the rest. As she grew her mother loved she special ability but her father feared it and so he locked the princess up in a tower,"
"Why would he do such a sad thing, mommy?" Rachel asked.
"He was scared for her and scared of her. So the princess waited and waited for someone to safe her. When she finally realized it was hopeless a handsome farm boy stumbled into the tower and safe the princess, when she told him of her secret he said 'my fair
Princess you will never have to worry, I will never leave you' and they life happy ever after."
"What happened to the princess mom and father?" Rachel asked.
