Chapter 3 : don't date snakes!

Friday came faster then Rachel expected.

Even through school was unbearable. Since Lilly seemed to be avoiding Rachel and her friends didn't want to talk to her as well . At least Flynn did. He was really nice and funny to her. And on top of that Jason seemed to disappear every time she wanted to talk him.

By Friday Rachel was thrilled. That afternoon she found her favorite blue dress, and her blue converse shoes. At 6pm she took a shower, put on her dress , shoes and neatly tied her hair in a braid.

The doorbell rang. "I'll get it," her father said. Rachel heard the door open.Rachel heard Jason tell her father that he would be taking her to the movies then to the diner. He added that he'll bring her back home at nine.

Before her father could reply Rachel came rushing down the stairs, kissed her father on the cheek , and ran .out the door.

"Sorry about that, I hope he didn't say anything embarrassing," She said walking to Jason black Porsche. "Wow, nice car,"

"No your dad said nothing, and thanks it was a birthday present," he remarked, as he opened the passenger side door . Rachel gets in, and bucks the seatbelt. Jason does the same, then turns on the radio. "Is this too loud!" He shouted over the roar of the music.

Numbing her eardrums she shouted "Yes," then Jason turns it down.

"Sorry, I usually like music loud, so what's up with you ?" Jason said in a normal tone.

"Well other then completely embarrassing myself each day, not much. " Rachel said. "So what movie are we seeing ?"

"I was thinking The Longer Ranger," Jason stated.

"It that the one with Johnny Depp in it?" Rachel asked. She loved Johnny Depp , especially when he played Captain Jack Sparrow. She thought he was hilarious . Jason nodded. "Cool,"

"Pass the popcorn," Jason said just as Tonto warned the coppers about Buck having a gun. Rachel passed to the popcorn to him.

About 2 hours or so Rachel and Jason were full of popcorn and laughs as they walked out of the theater. " I have to go to bathroom, stay here, I be right back ," Jason said rushing off to the men's room.

"Wasn't that a great movie?" A familiar voice said. Rachel turned around to see she was face to face with Flynn. He was wearing a black hood and a Lone Ranger mask.

"Yeah, is was great! Cool mask !" Rachel remarked.

"Thanks, Um, I was wondering ... well

...do u wanna grab something to eat? I was heading to Mike's Diner. " Flynn says a little sheepishly.

Just as Rachel was about to say she couldn't "Ready to grab a bit to eat?" Jason asked come out of the bathroom, "I am starving," he adds , "oh hey Fluke, come on Rach ready go to."

"It's Flynn " he barked them adds, "see you at school Rachel," he said with a disappointed smile. Rachel whispered a goodbye as Flynn disappears.

"Rach, you know that loser?" Jason asked as drive to Mike's diner.

"He's my friend and he's not a loser ," Rachel wished she had said instead just shrugged. 'Nice going Rachel, why don't you just go up to Flynn and stab him in the chest, and I hope you see him and apologize for being rude' her conscience screamed. But Rachel didn't see him as they enter the diner.

"So wanna play 20 question?" Rachel asked as they waited for their dinner.

"Sure,"

"Ask me a main question?"
