Sarah hardly did anything after Andrew left. She only watched television, which meant cartoons for her. She remained in her pajamas until Tails got bored and decided to get into the trash and literally dragged garbage everywhere. “Tails!” Sarah hurried up and stood, chasing her away before going to pick the garbage up and sighed, going up the stairs and took herself a nice warm shower, feeling the warmth easing up her joints.
When she was finished, she changed into a pair of jeans and a t-shirt, going downstairs with the towel wrapped around her head. She walked passed a closed door, looking over at it and realized it was Clay’s.
Should she...?
No. It’s not her house, and he told her if she gave him his privacy, he’ll give her hers. She knew invading his privacy would ruin any chance she could have with him in the future. She shook her head, going down the stairs and saw Tails squeezing into a cracked down, which lead down to the basement. Sarah cursed under her breath, “Tails, you know this isn’t your house.” She went over and opened the door all the way, tuning the lights on and peered down the steps. “You can’t just wonder anywhere you want.” She murmured, going down the steps and saw her in what looked like a small room. Sarah went over and opened the iron door more, seeing only a mattress on the floor. Sarah went in and picked Tails up, leaving and closing the door, only to finally see that the iron door had a small window with iron bars, and a latch that locked the door in place. She narrowed her eyes, looking around until her eyes landed on a large fridge. She went over and saw there was a lock on it, but unlatched. Sarah tilted her head and took it off, and slowly opened the fridge. Her eyes widened, gasping and dropping the lock on the ground. Tails meowed, looking up at Sarah in curiosity.
Bags of blood were piled into the fridge.
Sarah’s breath caught in her throat, her hand covering her mouth.
She looked back at the cell, then back at the blood. Exhaling she quickly closed the door and hurried up the steps.
Some things were best left unsaid and for one to just forget and move on.
But this...this was something she could not let go.
Sarah put Tails down on the top of the steps, marching her way to the steps and head upstairs. She stopped in front of the closed door, yanking the towel off of her hair and tossed it down and went to the door and opened it. She stepped inside, seeing unlike the rest of the house, it was dark. The walls were a dark brown, and the furniture was all completely dark brown. The wooden floor was a dark cherry wood, and the bed spread was all black. The photos on the wall wasn’t sex and nudity, but of animals-mainly crows. Sarah blinked a couple times, tucking her wet hair behind her ear and head inside, going over to his closet and opened it. Aside from the dark wardrobe, Sarah went in deeper to find anything out of the ordinary, but saw nothing. She got out and went to his dressers, going through them all, tossing dirty magazines to the side, looking under everything but saw nothing. She closed everything up, looking around the room and looked at the bed, going over and got on her hands and knees and looked under, seeing a tin box. She went to reach, but Tails moved in her face and rubbed hers against hers. “T-Tails, stop.” She whispered, moving her away and pulled the box out and opened it.
Inside held black candles and different herbs. The smell of chalk lingered in the air, making her sneeze. She held up some of the candles and saw a small bag of white chalk. What the hell was this? Was he some sort of Satan worshipper? She narrowed her eyes, but jumped when she heard the door open downstairs. She gasped, hurrying to close everything and stuffed it all under the bed, picking up Tails and hurried out of the room. “Sarah?” She heard Clay ask from downstairs. She picked up the towel and hurried into her room, out of sight.
