It was around five in the morning when Andrew have gotten a call from Nick that they have received word on their suspect being seen by an on duty officer. Which you’d think was a good thing, but as soon as they got to the scene, the officer’s throat had been torn out. The body was in an alley, the human officer had his gun rested next to him, his shirt torn in the front, and his gray hair matted against his head from the rain. Andrew walked over to the scene with his umbrella in hand, seeing Valeriya with her hood up and kneeled down taking pictures. He stepped up, looking around. “Where’s Jon?” he asked

“Searching the area.” She said without even looking up, she took one more picture and stood, looking back at him. “You should probably go help him.” She said, walking right by him.

He arched an eyebrow at her, watching her walk off. The two have had history together and despite how he tried to remain professional and forget that it even happened, Valeriya didn’t seem to be doing the same. It wasn’t even as if they had dated. It was strictly physical and when it appeared that she was wanting more than that, he broke it off. Since then, things have remained tense between the two.

“Andrew!” He looked over and saw Nick coming over, his old face looking so tired as he walked over. “Jon is on his trail, he needs backup.”

Andrew nodded, closing his umbrella and handed it to Nick, before he hurried down the street, sniffing Jon out and following his scent. He ran fast, leaping up onto a roof and leaped from one building to the next. He smelled the other vampire, making Andrew’s eyes glowed an orange red color. He leaped down from the high roof, landing on all fours, turning to look over his shoulder and saw the young vampire coming to a screeching halt as he saw him. Andrew stood and turned, his nails growing and his teeth growing sharper, his face slowly changing to more of a wolf like look, his hair standing up more. The vampire hissed, slowly stepping back. The boy was so young, but it didn’t keep Andrew from wanting to tear his throat out.

The vampire licked his lips, readying himself. “I see the puppy wants to play.” The boy smirked.

Andrew grinned darkly. “I play rough, so I don’t think you can handle it...Glen.”

Glen darkened his look, “I like it rough.”

Andrew tilted his head, cracking his neck. He looked and watched as Glen ran towards him, and couldn’t help but grin. The boy reached to claw him, but he was no match for Andrew who was much more experienced with fighting, only to have Andrew grip the boy’s arm, pulling it back and yanked it so hard that he could hear the bones crunching. Glen let out a loud gasp, hissing and turning, taking a swing at him but Andrew used his other hand to snatch it, gripping it tightly as he shoved the boy so hard against the brick wall, that it actually cracked it. He put his nails against his chest, shoving his hand into his chest and gripped his heart. Glen let out a painful scream, clinching his teeth as he glared at Andrew, his own eyes black and red, his fangs withdrawn. Andrew leaned in a little. “Give me one good reason why I shouldn’t tear out your heart?”

Glen panted, leaning forward so their faces were only inches apart, his breath hitting Andrew’s lips. “Do it...” He whispered softly. “Tear it out. You know you want to.”

Andrew slowly gripped his heart, clinching his teeth and was just about to pull...

“Andrew don’t!” He looked over, seeing Jon walking up with his hand over his side which was bloody. “We need him, alive.”

Andrew glared at him, cursing under his breath. His features slowly returning to normal as he looked at Glen, who was slumped back against the wall with a grin. Oh how he wanted to just feel his blood dripping down from his hand as he held his heart. He clinched his teeth, slowly letting him go and withdrew his hand from his chest, but kept another hand on his shoulder.
