Chapter 11
Mason's POV
When we got outside, my men were lined up to protect their pack, and Drax's kid had his 'pack' behind him. I chuckled at the fact that he thought that even with his pack he could 'defeat' us.
I walked in front of my pack, my mate following behind me, an took a protective stance.
"What do you want Drax?" I demanded.
"I want your little mate, and you know that," he replied, in a joking manner.
Donavan Drax's kid, Adam, was more lethal than his father. This kid meant business, but he wasn't getting my mate. She wasn't going to be involved with any of his deals... but it was strange that he sounded like he was joking.
"And you know that you are never getting her!" I growled out to him.
"Well, I bet you figured out who I have, by now I mean you must know. I mean my idiot of a father gave away a big hint," he said putting quotes around the word father.
"I don't care who you are! You have my parents! Give them back now," my mate growled to him.
'Shhh... He'll try to take you,' I linked her.
'I don't care. I'm done with this bastard. He's harmed my pack, hurt my mate, my kids, and he has my parents and my little sister,' she linked back.
I was glowing with pride at the fact she said that, but I was angry with this bastard.
"Give them back to us, and maybe I won't end up killing you," I said.
"Fine you can have them," he replied.
"I will get them from...What?" Anastasia gasped.
"I never wanted this," he replied.
"My name is Isaac Stone. I'm not Drax's son. His son died, when you killed his mate. I left the pack. These men, are just holograms," he said waving his arm through the person next to him.
"Why did you do all that then?" Anastasia asked.
"I didn't do any of it. I was only a body with a name that wasn't my own. I was his toy. If you don't believe me then you can have your parents back and let them explain, and if you still don't believe me then you can kill me. But, if you do believe me, I would like to become a part of your pack."
"Ana! Anastasia!? Is that you baby girl?" I heard a women yell.
"Mom! Oh! Mommy!" Anastasia cried.
"This better not be a joke," I said to him.
"It isn't, I promise," he said.
Anastasia broke from my grip on her hand and started running to her family. As she neared them, I was by her side, in case this was a trick. Her mother was a tall woman with growing grey hairs. I now know where Anastasia gets her looks from. Her father had changed dramatically from when I had seen him last. He looked beaten, abused and malnourished. His hair was completely grey. His face aged about thirty years, and his eyes showed a hallow shell of a man.
Behind them was a young girl, in her twenty's, staring at the ground while taking looks at Isaac. She was looking at him with love, and at Anastasia with confusion. I wonder...
"Mom! Dad! I thought I would never see you guys again!" Anastasia cried with sadness and joy lacing her words.
"We thought you and your brother would forget about us! I've heard many stories of you Ana, searching for us. I've heard your brother has helped too. He and Isaac are the reasons we are here," her father said.
So, Isaac was telling the truth, my Beta said to me.
I guess he was.
"Anastasia, I want you to meet someone. I didn't tell you or your brother about her because it was supposed to be a surprise for you two... This is your sister, Abigale," her mother said to her.
Her mother was worried that she would hate her, but Anastasia did not have a cold heart. I watched as my mate neared Abigale, with a curious look on her face. She then smiled and grabbed Abigale for a big hug. I heard her mother let out a sigh of relief.
"You don't understand, I've always wanted a sister! All I've had is a twin brother who likes to remind me of how he's older than me. He's always so annoy-Oh no! Mason!" my mate was yelling.
I ran to her side and grabbed her. I felt her pain through our link.
"What's wrong!?" I asked, I was scared that something was wrong with her health.
"My water just broke!" She said staring at me with pride.
"Someone get the doctor!" I screamed as I picked up my mate and ran inside the house to our medical room.
How could I have forgotten! Anastasia had been pregnant during the time of her unconscious state. I prayed that it wasn't going to effect the baby, or should I say babies. She's going to have twins, what sex? I don't honestly know. I wanted my mate to be awake, to hold my hand in excitement when we found out.
"Dad, what's wrong with Mom? Is she okay?" Jacob asked, worried someone had harmed his mother.
"Honey, you are going to have a little brother or sister walking around soon," Anastasia answered before I did.
"Or maybe both, or one of each," I said.
"What!?"
"Uhhh... Surprise?" I asked.
"Are you trying to tell me that my daughter is going to have twins!?" her father questioned.
"Well everyone on my side of the family has at least one pair of twins," her mother said.
"Twins!?" Anastasia questioned, more like screamed out through contractions.
"She wasn't conscious when I was told she was pregnant. I think she found out when she woke up though and thought not to question it at the time, I rushed out as the doctor entered the room.
"Wait what?" her father screamed, as the doctor ushered them out of the room.
"Oh God! Here we go again, Mason," Anastasia said breathlessly.
Three and a half painful hours later, Anastasia welcomed two beautiful children to the world; Ryan Carter and Rylee Carmela Green.
