Chapter 4

Time for a switch up! I'm throwing in Mason's POV this chap. Who do you think that Anastasia saw???!

Chapter 4

Mason’s POV

            She’s ignoring us, my wolf said to me.

            It’s not her it’s that douche Adrian, he and all his friends are doing this, I responded.

            He lets other boys around her… I’m going to kill him!

            I second that, but I don’t think she’ll appreciate us killing her step brother… She’ll probably hate us.

            Anne says that Anastasia likes us.

            I’m glad she does, if she didn’t I don’t know what we would do, I said hearing my wolf howl in joy. Then he stopped and growled.

            She still would be ours! If you screw it up I will kill you…

            I won’t I think the bond is already starting to grow… if she is near us she leans in towards us.

            It is I feel it.

            Do you think she is a wolf, like us?

Possibly, you never know, he said ending the conversation.

I felt the truck stop and everyone got. Today there are a meeting for all the Alpha’s in California, Utah and Nevada. In California, there is Alpha Huntington, and my father, Alpha Green. Then in Utah there is Alpha Luis and in Nevada there is Alpha Cuccrullo.

Alpha Cuccrullo is a very young Alpha. His father, the original Alpha, was killed by a hunter along with their Luna. It took them a year or something to find him. He was the oldest of three. His twin sister was murdered right after they found him. His youngest sister Abagail has no recollection of her sister because she was too little to remember anything.

Alpha Luis has not yet found his mate. He is 32 and he believes that she isn’t out there. We always have to give him the boost he needs to actually get through the day. He doesn’t even have a girlfriend because he’s so afraid that if she meets him and sees him with another girl she would reject him—and no one can blame him for thinking that.

Alpha Huntington has his mate and his one son, Adrian. His Luna could barely carry out having the kids because she was attacked by a rouge. They thought she wasn’t going to survive so they took Adrian out of her. They managed to heal her. She is actually a really tough Luna, she doesn’t pull any punches.

Then, there is my dad. He lost my mother, his first mate, to a hunter. They still managed to have me though. I was only 2 when she was killed. Then, when I was 5 he met his second mate, my new mom. She is very kind and had also lost her first mate so when she found my dad she was so happy. It was funny because, Anne, her daughter, and I didn’t want a new parent. We just wanted ours and that was final. Once we both threw a tantrum, we connected instantly and became really close. We still are to this day. My parents then had my younger brother, Jake, when I was 8. They also had my other younger brother, Tom, when I was 13. Everyone gets along great in my family.

“Hello, Alphas,” Alpha Cuccrullo said.

“Hello Alpha Cuccrullo,” my father and I said at once.

“Come on we are just wait for Alpha Luis to come. He is about twenty minutes away,” he said as we began to walk to his pack house. Once we got in the pack house we went up to the meeting room. My father and Alpha Huntington started talking leaving me, Adrian and Alpha Cuccrullo sitting by ourselves in an awkward silence.

After a few minutes, Alpha Cuccrullo go up and motioned for us to follow. We looked at his leaving figure confused, but still got up and followed him. We jogged after him and realized we were walking towards the cemetery.

“What’s up? Why are we going here” Adrian said.

“Apparently there is someone that came through here but hasn’t left yet. They saw her near my family’s graves,” he said. His voice was cold. He didn’t like that someone he didn’t know was looking at his family’s grave—especially someone that could possibly be dangerous or a human.

When we got closer we could see the figure touching a picture frame of the family. I started to feel my wolf go crazy over the sight of this girl and I started to smell the sweet scent of strawberries and peppermint. I froze and looked at Adrian. He looked at me, knowing who the figure was.

He then mouthed to me ‘How did she run almost twenty miles?’

Mate is a wolf,  my wolf chanted over and over again. I felt my eyes all but pop out of my head. I started to jog towards Alpha Cuccrullo.

Adrian stopped moving when he was about 10 feet away from her and cleared his throat. We caught up to him before she could turn around. Once she turned around she gasped, and stared at us in horror or shock…

Ah! So here it is the next chapter! Why do you think she gasped in shock ? And who do you think she was in shock because of!? 

I may not be posting until Tuesday... Sorry I have a really busy day tomorrow and Monday I have to go to the dentist :( I don't like going to new dentists... they always look soooo weird... And I found out the dentist I go to sings to his patients... Oh God help me! lol
