Genesis' POV

Well, today's the day.  Time for my four hour flight.  Well, not just yet.  I'm getting ready to leave for the airport now.  Stella and I are hugging each other right now.  She's gonna stay here at the house with Josh while Mama takes me to the airport.  "Stella, I promise you, I'll be back before you know it.  And I'll video call every day." I promised her.  "Better keep this one." Stella taunts as we shake on it.  I hug her again.  "I love you sis." I tell her.  I get up from the crouched position and wrap my arms around Josh's torso. "Later chicky." he says laughing.  "I'll be back!" I taunt as we leave.

"I'll be back in about an hour." Mama said as she kissed Josh.  I covered my eyes and Stella's with my hands.  "Mommy.  Joshy.  We're still here." Stella says.  "Oh right." Mama says as she pulls away.  "Yeah, you guys can continue your session later." I say as I pick up my suitcase.  "Alright, alright.  Let's go G." Mama says.  I pick up my guitar case with my free hand and then the two of us come out to her car out in the driveway.  I put my bags and guitar into the back of the car, and then slide into the front seat.

I'm comfy enough in what I'm wearing that I can sleep on the flight, but then when I land in Nashville I'll be able to do anything with Miranda.  I was wearing a pair of jeans, a yellow shirt, a navy and white striped cardigan, and navy blue flats, along with my navy blue infinity scarf.  I fiddled with the heart charm on my bracelet.  I also had two rings slid on it.  It was the only things recovered from the fire.  They were my mom and dad's wedding rings.  They were sent to me and I figured it was how I could always have them with me.

We drive to the airport and its still dark out.  It's only like 5 in the morning.  My flight doesn't leave until 7, but I wanted to make sure I got through security fine.  "Well G, this is where I leave you." Mama said.  "I'll be back.  I promise." I said as I hugged her.  I kept my arms roped around her neck.  I was scared to leave her.  Well, more or less, I was afraid to fly by myself.  "Hey, it's gonna be alright.  I love you okay?" Mama said to me.  She had a little bit of tears in her eyes.  "First class for Flight 127 is now going into holding." came over the intercom.

"Well, I guess this is where we have to go." Mama said.  I hugged her and picked up my bags.  I turned towards the exit and walked a little bit.  Before I went through security, I turned around and waved my hand.  "Bye.  I love you." I said as I went through.  "Bye." she said.  I went through security and the next time I turned, she was gone.  I thought back to a song I would sing around the house when I was younger.  It was a little childish, but it was 'Worldwide' by Big Time Rush.  You know, that Nickelodeon show with the boy band?

Yeah, that one.  Well the song talks about how the girl has to leave for her career and the guy promises that he'll always love her and she promises that she'll always love him.  I felt that way with Mama right now.  I wasn't leaving forever, but where ever we went, no matter the situation, I would always love her.  "Flight 127.  First class." I said as I went to security.  "Alright, name?" the lady asked.  "Genesis Carlie Lawrence." I said using my full name.

"Alright, go ahead." the lady said.  I set my suitcase and guitar on the luggage carousel and watched it disappear.  I then set my back pack on the luggage x-ray machine thingy and watched it scan.  I took my shoes off and sent them through too.  When I got all my stuff back I sat down on one of the chairs and checked the time, it had just turned 6 am.  About a half hour and then I should be boarding.  I laid back in the chair and watched a news story that was going on.  Geez, Miranda and her missing daughter in the news again?!

"It is said that her daughter, Arizona Gracie Lambert, would now be ten years old.  After running genetic tests, it is thought she would likely have dirty blonde hair and hazel eyes.  If you have any information that may be of use in finding Arizona Lambert, please call the number below.  Miranda wants to find her daughter more than anything." the story read.  It then showed a computerized image of what they think Arizona would look like now.  As said, dirty blonde hair and hazel eyes.

"Flight 127, First Class is now boarding." the intercom sounded.  I picked up my back pack and moved towards the gate.  As I stood in line to board, I couldn't help but think about this week.  This was going to be huge for me.  I was really doing this.  I was excited.  I showed the person my boarding pass and she let me on.  I took my seat and there were only about six other people on first class.  There was a group of four people who looked pretty official to me.  Maybe they were like CIA or FBI or something.

The other two was a woman who looked like one of those people who thought she was better than everyone else.  She even had the cliche little lap dog.  I like dogs, even little dogs, but seeing all the California lap dogs could make a person sick after a while!  The last person was a woman who looked around her late twenties.  She had long blonde hair and brown eyes.  She was like really pretty.  Not someone who had been molded to LA perfection, she was just that pretty.

"Hi." she said as she saw me looking a little lost in thought.  "Hi.  I'm Genesis." I said.  "I'm Mojave." she said.  "Cool, like the desert?" I asked.  "Yup!  Are you by chance Genesis Carlie Lawrence?  The same Genesis Lawrence as one of J-Law's adopted girls?" Mojave asked.  "Yeah." I giggled.  How did she know my full name?  "That's really cool." she said, and then the PA system came on to say we were getting ready for lift off.

"Why are you headed to Nashville?" Mojave asked.  "I'm gonna be working on some music with...a friend." I said, not wanting to plaster me and Miranda on every tabloid in history.  "How about you?" I asked.  "I'm gonna go meet up with a friend of mine.  She wanted to ask me something and wanted me to see her again." she said.  I nodded as the jet rumbled to life.  I slightly gripped the seat as I plugged my earbuds in.  I made sure my iPod was on airplane mode, and then listened to my music as we ascended into the sky.
