I realised my blonde curls were poking out from the door and hurried to sit down in the class, I was a little early so it was only a few students in the class. I pushed myself in the back where no one could see me when Jessica walked into the class with her cronies.
“Who the hell was peeping from the door?”
“Um...that girl behind me,” Larry the nerd smiled, “Sorry, but you made me do all the work in biology the other day,”
“Urgh!” I grinded my teeth at him.
“You? You heard what I said! How dare you be so nosy,” she said.
“Sorry, I dropped a pen,”
“At the edge of the door?” she asked furiously.
“Yeah, sorry about that, I just bumped my bag, and there out comes my pen,”
“Very convenient,” her red haired friend said, she was chewing gum, trying to look tough but she was dainty and the prettiest girl I have ever seen, aside from Jessica.
“Yes, very, next time drop your pen around here,” he picked up my pen and dropped it on the floor, and smashed it with her heel.
As she walked away, I breathed a sigh of relief.
After class, Cat was waiting by the gate all excited.
“Hi, you look a little jumpy,”
“Well, Josh today......well, he just asked me to be his girlfriend!”
“Oh, he did,”
“I know how much you like him but, well you know, so it all happened like.....”
“Hey, you RED HAIR!”
“Oh no!” Cat mouthed softly.
“What you doing with Josh?”
“Josh?” Cat asked, she dropped her bag.
“Yes, he is my ex- boyfriend and I am trying to win him back,” she said.
“Yes, and don’t mess with him at all, or you both will be in trouble,” the red haired girl said.
“Who are you?” Cat put her hand on her hip and looked serious than ever.
“I am Amanda and I look much better in red hair than you do,”
“Oh, don’t start girl!” Cat pushed Amanda on the floor and suddenly became aggressive.
“For once in my life, someone loves me! I never ever was loved like this!” she shouted. I was shocked, did she come from a broken home like the other kids, wait didn’t she say her mum die? That’s probably why, but it was so scary.
“Leave her alone, Jessica, your boyfriend is Cody and just go on with him, I think that you’re being a little mean,”
“Well, I can’t when you’re all over him! And I made sure that you cannot meet with him, because I got his number,”
“So?”
“I am going to make you say that you cancel otherwise, Catty here, is going bye bye behind the school,” she punched Cat on her arm and she fell down.
“HEY!” she shouted.
“What?” she asked and waved the phone near me, “Phone? Or not to phone,” she leaned on the fence and pushed the phone into my hands.
“Okay, just don’t hurt her anymore,”
“Wait, you don’t have to do it, I am messing up your life, just let them finish,” Cat gasped for breath, she was holding her arm.
