Chapter:5...Memories

Irene's POV

"St. Philips Church"-I mumbled as I read the board that was hung at the entrance.

I & Taehyung have so many meomories with this church. We first time met at this church. Those memories are still fresh in my mind. It's been quite long since I came here back. But Taehyung every time used to come here when he needed some space & peace of mind.

I know that he is inside. But right now I'm just too nervous. My body is shaking continuously. I took a deep breathe & turned my hand into fist to gather some confidence. I gathered all the courage & took a step inside being a little nervous.

"Oh Jeasus! Help me"

As I took a step forward, I felt relaxed & free like a bird. I could feel the prosperity around the surrounding. That made me feel light. All the hard feelings vanished at a matter of seconds. It's been long since I came here back.

"I missed this place so much"

I slowly begin walking inside. Benches were placed properly at both the sides & a middle area which was used by people to walk.

Taehyung was not inside but still I was able to feel his presence. I know that he is somewhere here.

I stopped walking & stood in front of Jeasus. I closed my head, bowed down & joined my hands. But as I closed my eyes those childhood memories came back to my memory again.

These memory were all about when we were of 9 years old. My mother abandoned me & my dad, so that she can live her life happily with another man. I never expected this thing to happen. I was still small to understand all this. My father was in real shock at whatever happened. We had no reputation left in the society. People used to taunt us with their harsh words. So my father decided to leave the country. He got a job offer in States. We were soon going to leave Korea.

When Taehyung knew about it, he was really very sad. He didn't talk with me for days. He kept on ignoring me. I didn't wanted to leave Korea. Umm! I actually didn't wanted to leave Taehyung. I wanted to be with him.

I requested my dad a lot to cancel his job in States. But he never listened to me. But luckily after so many requests he finally agreed. Those memories are so precious to me.

FLASHBACK

"Taehyung-ah!!! Yah...Kim Taehyung!! Where the hell are you ..!! Hyaaa"

I shouted his name as loud as I could. I was tired running & searching for him. But thankfully I got to know that he is inside the church. I quickly ran towards the church.

I entered inside. I finally found him. I took a deep sigh of relief.

He was praying inside with full sincerity. He was weeping continuously. Never expected him to see this way.

I took small steps to reach to him.

"Taehyung-ah" - I called him softly.

He turned around to face me. He eyes got wide as he saw me. He didn't took any more time & just ran & hugged me tightly.

I was able to feel his warm tears running down to my neck.

"Hya!!! You're not going right? Please don't leave me Irene. Please!! Please!! Please!!!"- Taehyung tightened his embrace. He was still crying. I hugged him back.

I patted his back in concern -"I'm never gonna leave you, Taehyung. I'm not going anywhere. Look I'm still here with you. And I will forever remain this way with you. Don't cry. You actualky look so stupid while crying. Such a crybaby."-I chuckled.
