Chapter:15...Completely Breatheless

Taehyung's POV

"D-D-Date?" , asked Irene.

"NoNoNoNo", I nervously declined.

What? What are you saying Kim Taehyung? You crazy?

"Huh..What??", Irene asked confusedly.

"I mean Yes Yes Yes", I said again something stupid. What are you doing Taehyung? Why are you getting nervous? She is your friend. Okay? Be confident. It's just a friendly 'date'. But what? Date? & friendly? Makes no sense. I should have used another word instead of date.

I cleared my throat. " I mean a f-friendly d-date". I awkwardly chuckled.

'Are you even a man Taehyung? Stop vibrating your voice. Man up yourself', My inner self came in existence.

I took a look at Irene. She was... blushing, but she was trying her level best to hide it saying that it was too hot outside but I wasn't able see sun anywhere & it's winter anyway.

"O-Okay! I will c-change my o-outfit & come", She was having a hard time speaking as well. I guess my sudden appearance startled her. Am I too scary?

I saw her running inside her house without even giving me a second glance.

"What the? She went inside without inviting me in. It's so freezing cold here, I rubbed both of my hands against each other to gain heat.

Irene's POV

'Thump Thump' 'Thump Thump'

Boyah!! My heart.. Why is it beating so fast?

'Thump Thump' 'Thump Thump'

I kept my right hand on my chest. My heart was beating at a very fast rate. I quickly went towards the refrigerator & drank of 1 bottle of water in one go.

I kept the empty bottle on the table with a thud,"What should I wear?"

I quickly dashed towards my room. I took all of my clothes out. My bed was totally covered by my clothes but I still had nothing to wear for a date. I sighed & sat down on the bed,"Oh god! I don't have anything. What to do?"

I scratched my head & wandered from here to there & suddenly a blue top came into my sight. I ran towards it. I examined the top & I realized that it was of Seulgi which she left here. I examined the top with a black leather skirt of mine. I thought that it will look great on me. So, I quickly went & changed myself into it. I stood in front of the mirror & examined my self.

"You look good", I smiled at my reflection.

I combed my hair, clutched it backwards & applied a light make up. I took my silver pendent out & wore it. "Perfect", I clapped both of my hand & went outside for a date with my best friend.

Taehyung's POV

"Why is she taking so long? Gosh! I am gonna freeze over here"

I kept walking back & forth waiting for her. It's almost gonna be an hour of me waiting for her.

But thankfully, the door opened & Irene stepped outside.

"She's looking gorgeous!", I was dumbfounded. She was wearing a Blue top & a black leather skirt which was a little above her knee & suited her thin figure so much. I smiled at her & she smiled back to me but she was kind of feeling shy & was avoiding eye contact with me.

"Umm! Should we go?", Irene asked but Taehyung was still busy staring Irene.

Irene clapped her hands in front of Taehyung's eyes & he suddenly came back from his chain of thoughts. "Ah.. Ah..what ...what were you just saying?"

Irene chuckled. "Nothing". She said which made Taehyung to rub the back of his nape.

Author's POV

"Namsan Tower?". Irene got down from Taehyung's car. She closed the door of the car & stared at the tall tower. Taehyung also got down from his seat & locked the door. He noticed that Irene was freezing in cold. So, he took his jacket out & placed it on Irene's shoulder,"Let's go". He said & held Irene hands which made her to blush a little. Both of them reached at the top of the tower. They saw many people over there. He never thought witness so many people there.

"Why are there so many people?". Irene asked.

A guy heard Irene's question, he stood in front of her. "Actually, Today is Korean Valentines Day so that's why all the couples have come here today to enjoy with their partners & celebrate it. You both are also couples right?". The guy asked.

"N--". Just when Irene was going to deny, Taehyung interrupted their talk. "Y-Yes! We are couples". He raised his hands which was perfectly intertwined with Irene's fingers. He looked at Irene & flashed a bright smile to her & she just had a what-the-hell-look plastered on her face.

The guy nodded & walked away.

"What was that?". Irene cocked her eyebrow to Taehyung but Taehyung just shrugged his shoulder like nothing happened.

"We are not couples. Okay?". She informed Taehyung which made Taehyung to scoff,"I already have a girl I like with me... So, I don't need you to be my girlfriend". He said which caught Irene's attention.

"A g-girl you like?". She felt low when Taehyung confessed this to her. It felt like a vampire had sucked every energy from her body which made her feel lifeless. She stopped walking further & stayed at one fixed place.

"Yeah. A girl I like". He looked back at Irene & again turned front. Irene ran & stood beside Taehyung. "What is her name? How does she look like? Is she pretty? Is she from the same University as us?". She asked in one breathe. Which made Taehyung to raise his eyes."Why are you being so curious about it?". Taehyung asked. He started walking towards Irene but Irene kept on taking a little step backwards. After a while, Taehyung stood in front of Irene as Irene hit the back of the wall. He bent his head slightly towards Irene's which made Irene to flinch a bit & gulp down her own saliva. Her heart started beating at a very fast rate. She now didn't had her best friend Taehyung in front of her but a guy whom she has liked for many years since childhood.

"Do you... Like me?"

He asked which made Irene completely breathless.

Hey Guys!! I'm back to India T_T

I am missing my home so much. I miss my Family & my unlimited WiFi a lot more than anything :(
I can't wait for April so that I can return back to my home.
