Chapter:-6.. Run Away

Taehyung's POV

Where is she going? Why was she looking so tensed after receiving that call ? Is everything alright? She is not in any problem,right?

*Beep Beep* *Beep Beep*

I came out of my thoughts as I saw a phone vibrating on the ground.

"Ah! This is Irene's cellphone"

I took a step forward & bowed down to pick up the cellphone which was lying on the ground. I saw that she was getting a call from an unknown number. I quickly picked up the call to know the person maybe I'll get some clue about where she went.

"Yeobuseyo.

Irene's POV

"Ajhussi! Bbali Bbali"-

I quickly need to reach the Seoul Police Station.I actually got a call from police station few mins ago & they told me to visit them & it's an emergency. I already know what that emergency is, So they didn't bother to explain me everything.

"Miss! We reached the destination", I quickly got off from the taxi handing him the taxi fare. I ran inside the Police Station quickly without wasting any further time.

I started moving my eyes here & there around the police station & then I found my father inside the prison. He was sitting down on the chair with both of his hands covering his face. Last time he was arrested for not paying up the money in the alcohol shop. Since the day my mother has left my dad, he has become a drunker & even started smoking. He lost his ambition to live. He is all broken now. It's all because of her. I hate her so much. I'll never forgive her.

Thinking of this always makes me cry, but I anyhow controlled it. I quickly wanted to go & hug him tightly. Because I'm the only one over here who can understand his feelings. I want my father back. I want my old cheerful dad back.

Soon a voice distracted me from all my thoughts I was having.

"Irene-ssi"

I turned my head towards his direction to face him.

"Irene-ssi! Last time because you requested me so much I left this man. But today I don't think I can leave him. Today he committed much bigger crime than before. This is totally not forgivable"

"W-What did he do today,Mr. Kang?"- I asked with a trembling voice trying to control my tears as I clutched my skirt.

I saw him taking a deep sigh. He pointed his finger towards the backwards direction. I turned my head. I saw a girl probably of my age crying & a lady consoling her. Her clothes were tore in some places. She was even having hard time breathing as she was crying continuously. She had some bruises on her knees & hands.
"Did he......?"

"No! Please no! This must not be truth. No! Irene No! Your father can't do this. He can't. He seriously can't. He is not that kind of person. He can't do this"

I quickly diverted my eyes towards my father's direction. He was looking at me. I started to stare his eyes to know if he really has done that or not. But it was really hard to know. His eyes were not showing any expression.
