Charlottes PoV

After hearing his voice the other day on the phone i hadn't being myself, I kept spacing out thinking about why after a year of rejected me and causing me nothing but pain did he want to know now, why couldn't he of come back all them months ago when he first rejected me and walked out, why did he even reject me in the first place if he was just going to regret it a year down the line.

Today Katie and I was going to the mall to take my mind of things has I had opened up to her about the call and how it made me feel, so she said a day at the mall should help me.

"Hey chick you ready to go" Katie says walking in my room

"Yeah I guess, is Luke and Cody coming with us" Luke was my brothers best thing and soon to be beta since my uncles only had Jenny so she couldn't be beta female knowing that when she meets her mate she will move to his pack.

"About that Cody backed out as your father wants to make sure his ready to take over next month"

"That soon, I thought he would of waited till he was 18 at least"

"NoP he said that now his found me and his grown up more he thinks his ready to take over"

"Well congratulations lady you have finally changed my brothers ways" we both laugh out at this knowing that my brother is totally whipped over Katie.

Half and hour later we are at the mall, Katie drags me in a victory secrets picking up different bras throngs and girl boxers goddess these girl was going to make me try these things on. Before I would of but now it didn't bother me as much.

After she had finished buying goddess knows what, we make are way to another store walking her arm in arm we go over to the woman section picking out jeans leggings trousers tops blouses and jumpers let's just say I spend a good few hundred.

After a few more shops I start to feel hungry and point to the a small food place called nandos so we make our way over. I stop in my tracks as I'm hit with the scent fresh pine and coconut, oh goddess no please I can't see him not now.

"Char are you ok, why did you just stop"

"K his here I smell his scent I can't see him not now, not after coming this far"

"It's ok come lets just head home" I nod my head as we both turn to exit the mall but I guess that was a big mistake because right there standing in front of me was no other then Derek Jones himself my mate.

"Charlotte, please don't run for me you look different by the way I mean a good different, look can we go somewhere and talk" he looked as nervous as I felt I guess a year is along time and in that year I guess people changed as it does somethings to them.

"Fine you have half and hour tops that's it not a minute more, k are you going to be alright on your own for half an hour or you can just head back I'll catch a taxi once I'm done"

"Sure I'll meet you back at the house and don't let him sweet talk you chick be strong and you touch a hair on her body I will skin you a live" with that I give her a hug and kiss on the cheek and hand her my car keys along with my bags.
