A lot of you have been giving negative comments due to the character actions and how she handles situation. I know a lot of you don't agree with her but you have to understand, out there in the world is probably a girl just like the character in the book. We never know what goes on in someone head, unless they tell us themselves.
Me personally when I was writing the book it made me cringed and I don't know where most of it come from if I am honest. If it was me personally I would never have accepted the guy and would of just moved on.
Charlotte grew up knowing her mother and fathers story and how he cheated but her mother forgive him, she always believed having your true soul mate meant more to her than what a second chance mate would.
Charlotte always thought she knew what was best, she never liked been told what to do. So by going against her father and families wish she gave her mate a second chance, even after all the pain he put her through.
Charlotte was a strong headed girl on the out side but inside she was weak and fragile, I guess you could say this is probably why she gave him a chance sad we all know but in the end it's all down to herself.
