Stiles' P.O.V:

I tolerated Scott's tattoo.

I tolerated him coming to my house at midnight, interrupting my movie night, taking Emma away from me and spending one hour talking about Allison with her.

I mean, that's totally okay! Emma's his best friend, right?

But I will definitely not tolerate bored Scott.

So, when we were kids, Emma's mom and my mom were best friends with Heather's mom. Heather was a really cool girl with long blond hair and sick colouring books. My one deal with her was that she was a bit clingy sometimes.

I think our mom's biggest dream was for us to be a couple. But, sadly, Heather's colouring books didn't compare to Emma's passion for Star Wars and Police codes, among other stuff such as her Hot Wheels collection and that one time she left a boy with a black eye because he told her she punched like a girl.

However, Heather seemed to accept that pretty well, because last week she contacted me, saying we were invited to her birthday party.

Emma and I weren't sure about this. I mean, Heather was clingy around me until her mother sent her to a different High School. That's only two years ago; we didn't know how would she react to us being together. But when she offered me to introduce me to her friends, I knew this was a chance we had to take.

We can totally find Scott a new girlfriend and problem solved: he stops suffering for Allison and I can have my movie nights in peace.

It's a win-win situation, except that Scott's putting a lot of effort in not having a good time.

"What?" Emma asks Scott.

"What, what do you mean 'what'?" Scott says, not looking at us.

"She means what and you know what!" I groan, taking Emma's hand.

"What?" Scott gives up, finally looking at us.

"That look you were giving?" Emma carefully asks. We parked the jeep a few blocks away as we walked towards Heather's house.

Streets are quiet and the stars are shinning over our heads. Even in the dark of night, I perfectly remember the way to Heather's house.

"I didn't give a look." Scott lies.

The air is chilly and I make a mental note to thank Emma for making me use a long sleeved jumper.

"Oh, there was a distinct look, Scott." Emma insists. I have to take Emma's side this time; it's awkward enough for her to reunite with her childhood friend. We don't need Scott being all grumpy as well.

"What look?" Scott sighs, occasionally glancing as his phone screen.

"The look that says that the last thing you feel like doing right now is going to a party," I say, rolling my eyes at him.

"It's not that. It just seems weird going to a different high school's party." Scott defends himself.

Bullshit.

"What? Would you- God, one drink, all right? You'll be fine!" I groan, making Scott stop walking.

"Listen," Emma says, taking Scott hands. "We know this girl since forever, okay? And she promised to introduce you to all of her friends!"

"Yes!" I say with faked joy. "Tonight, no Allison; tonight you're moving on."

The pep talk seems to cheer Scott up a little bit.

"You're right," he says, smiling with his signature, clueless, smile.

"You're right I'm right," I tell him and Emma rolls her eyes at me. "Moving on; onward and upward," I dramatically add.
