Stiles' P.O.V:

I do my best to chase after Scott. I really do; I literally run until my legs are numb. Sadly, I can't compete with his supernatural speed.

When I slow down, the group is still far behind us. I probably won't find either Scott, Isaac or the twins, and even if I do, I'm not sure if I want to get involve in their fight.

I start walking again as I try to compose myself from all the physical activity I just went through. I hear the heavy steps of the rest of the group behind me; they'll be here any minute.

I turn around and I see the dusty, sweaty mass of teenagers running towards me with Coach barely following them. Most of them are just walking really fast, like I would usually do if weren't werewolf hunting.

Then, it happens.

The alarm: a sharp, high pitched voice full of terror.

The chaos: people gathering around the crime scene.

"Everybody calm down!" yells Coach, pushing his way through students that do anything but to calm down.

And the unmistakable sound of the smart phones when you hit '911'.

Everything happens in slow motion. I already know what I'm going to find in that tree when I make my way to the front row of American Horror Story show going on in the middle of the "safest road for students to go for an innocent run now that lacrosse season is over." Still, I can't help but have the urge to check it out myself.

Already dialling Emma's number, I make my way through terrified students until I reach Coach. There he is; Kyle, Deaton's client last night who only wanted his dog to feel better.

I don't even need a picture to know it's him; I just have to take a quick look at his injuries before my brain threatens to pass out because I keep on seeing Heather in every dead body we keep finding.

"Stiles, what is it?" Emma says on the phone. "Stiles? Oh my God, you found him, didn't you?"

"Found him," I mumble, not able to take my eyes away from him. "Too late, but I found him."

Next thing I know is that Scott and Isaac are standing next to me.

"It's him," I state. "Isn't he?"

Scott doesn't have to answer that, we already know.

When dad arrives, he orders everyone to stay away from Kyle.

"Dad! Here, come," I say, taking his arm to pull him closer to the body. "You see? It's the same as the others."

"Yes, I see," Dad says, taking a deep breath. "Now, do me a favour: go back to school, okay?"

Then he asks Coach for help to get us back to school. I hate it when he does this. I get that he's trying to protect me, but I know things he doesn't! I can help him get this figured out! If he only listened to me every once in a while...

"You heard the man!" Coach yells. "Nothing to see here! Probably just some homeless boy..."

"Coach," Scott says. "He was a senior."

A blond girl screeching like someone just ripped her heart out is stopped by a deputy as she tries to get closer to Kyle...or what's left of him.

Kyle has a girlfriend. That means he wasn't a virgin and the pattern just doesn't make sense anymore. Unless they were like Emma and I; maybe they were one of those couples who fell in love while trying to protect their werewolf best friend and have to put their relationship aside in order to stay alive and they're taking forever to have sex.
