I make my way to the store and Izzy's jaw drops.
"Are you actually wearing Scott Hoyings clothes?" She squealed.
"Well, yes but also no. It was his until he gave it to me because I 'look better in it than he does'. And also Mitch's pants." I told her.
"What was up with him yesterday?"
"Who? Mitch?"
"Yeah, he just sat in the corner looking devastated while you guys were gone and we were going through the comments on the video."
I showed her the texts between us and she just shook her head. "Some nerve, that ones got."
I laughed and put my apron on and got started.
"How was the video, by the way?" I asked.
"Amazing! A lot of the comments were really nice and funny. But we did get a lot of hate."
"Hey, it's part of the media. It's just people fishing for attention, anyways. But you know, even if they're talking shit, we're still on their minds." I laughed.
I went to say something until the bell on the door rang.
"Hello, welcome to The Spot, what can I get for you today?" Izzy asked.
"Two Large Hot Chocolates, please." I heard the most Australian voice in the world say as I was refilling the machines. I spin around quickly to see Michael standing at the counter with Calum. I run to Michael and hug him.
"Oh wow, it's been a while since I've seen you, Mikey." I smiled.
"Hey, Cressida! How have things been here? Business good?" He asks.
"It's been amazing! We have the nicest customers in the world. And I've met really great people here, recently." I told him.
"Do I get a hug?" Calum asks, defeated.
"Of course, asshat." I laugh and hug him. "How has tour been?"
"It's been great. We've met so many great friends and the performances have been incredible. There's so much positive energy an it's great being able to sing for people enjoy what you do." Calum says.
"It's so great to see you guys again. I can't wait until I get to go to a concert again." I was smiling ear-to-ear.
"Well, it seems you had just enough fun at the concert you went to Tuesday. The pictures were everywhere." Michael said.
"Yeah, I didn't go by choice," I glared at Izzy, "but it was a great time."
"Anyways, we have to go now, but it was great seeing you again." Calum said.
I hugged them one more time and then they were off. I definitely missed Mikey all the time. He's such a nice, great person. I barely get to see him anymore because he's such a big deal to the entire world thy his schedule is always packed. But I do certainly cherish the moments we get together.
Not long after, Scott drops by and he brought Mitch along. When they get here, I walk straight past Scott and over to Mitch and I hug him. "Are you doing okay?" I asked.
"I'm not great, but it's better." He replys. I can see great confusion in Izzy's face as I voluntary talk to him, but he's in a time of need and I guess I'm the only one who can help.
After I talk to him for a few minutes I go back to the register and get his order.
"Three Large Iced Vanilla Mochas, please." He says.
"Coming right up." I smile, write the names on two of the cups, and go make them up. I give the one with 'Chicago' scribed on it to Scott, and Mitch's just had his name. The third one was blank.
I handed it to him and he took the sharpie from me and wrote 'Texas' on it and handed it back to me.
"Aw, what a gentleman." I laugh, taking the coffee.
Mitch goes as sits at a table but Scott just stands there, leaning against the cookie case. He was always up against something. If he wasn't sitting, he was leaning. Either against a wall, a table, a counter, or just anything he could balance on, but never just standing.
"So, Texas, I believe you owe me something." He looked at me with a smirk.
"You might have to refresh me memory." I say as I lean closer to him, resting my arm against his shoulder. Just then he turns to me and slams his lips right up against mine. I kissed back and we just kind of kissed for a few minutes.
"Well, you were right, Chicago." I say before walking off.
