Perfect Family [Pietro - Fluff]

Sweat dripped down your face as you panted in exhaustion. You could see the electric eyes of your fiancé looking down at you in concern.
You had just given birth to twins. Pietro's twins.

The nurses had taken the babies to clean them up as you rested on the bed, completely drained of all energy.
"You did so well, printsessa." Pietro speaks softly, planting a gentle kiss on your head.

Before long, two nurses return both holding a baby each. One wore a pink hat, whereas the other wore a blue.
"One of each!" You gasp.
"Just like me." Pietro mumbles in awe.
Each nurse hands both you and Pietro your newborns. Pietro gets the girl and you get the boy.

You look down in admiration at the tiny boy resting in your arms. He settled quickly and is soon fast asleep. You look up to Pietro, who is standing at your bedside, showing the same adoration for the tiny bundle in his own arms.
He looks up and captures your eyes with his own.
"They're perfect." He barely whispers, his eyes becoming glossy.
He leans against you as you rest your head on his shoulder, the two blue-eyed babies perfectly content with the pair of you.
You were now a family. You were now complete.

Several months later, you rushed around the house trying to prepare two bottles whilst attempting to hush the two screaming twins in their bouncers. You eventually notice the formula is ready and you try to balance both bottles whilst keeping the kitchen door open with your foot.
It's at this moment you hear the front door open and close quickly as Pietro zooms in.
"Oh, thank goodness!" You exhale in relief.
He stops right beside you, standing in the doorway to hold the door open, and holding two giggling twins in his arms. Your little girl pinches his nose as she giggles uncontrollably, whereas your boy is simply looking up at him in wonder.

"Boy, am I glad to see you!" You smile, turning your full attention to the bottles now.
"You've missed me?" He asks, whilst subconsciously pulling faces at the twins.
"Of course!" You smile, turning and giving him a quick kiss on the lips.
You take your daughter from his arm and hand him a bottle in exchange. You both walk into the living area and sit side by side on the couch as you both feed the twins.

Roughly an hour later, the two twins were fed and falling asleep in their parents' arms. You look over to your son who lay in Pietro's arms with lidded eyes, then down to the little girl, with a similar expression, in your arms.

Your eyes trail to Pietro's face, which also holds an expression of exhaustion. You suppress a giggle at how adorable your little family is.

You take your daughter up to her crib before returning for your son. When you remove him from Pietro's arms, Pietro opens his eyes and looks up at you groggily.
"Just putting him to bed." You soothe, before retreating from the room.

As you quietly close the door to the nursery, you turn to see Pietro standing behind you, smirking expectantly.
He holds out a hand toward you and you take it.
He pulls you close to him, nuzzling his nose into the top of your hair.
"How about we-" He cuts off into a yawn but speaks again when he regains his composure. "-we take this to the bedroom?"

He pulls away from you to flash you his cheeky grin, although it's lost its charm a little due to how tired he is.
"Yeah, take this to the bedroom and put you to bed." You chuckle, dragging him to the bedroom by your intertwined fingers.
He strips to his underwear in the blink of an eye and flops into the bed, yawning again. You also get changed for bed, taking the amount of time any normal human would, before joining him.

You lie down beside him and he pulls you into his chest, nuzzling into your hair once more.
"Goodnight, momma bear." He mumbles, his Sokovian accent still thick through the sleepy tone.
"Goodnight, papa bear." You reply.
"Goodnight, baby bear cubs!" Pietro speaks a little louder toward the twins in the room next door.
