"Are you looking for a job in a café?" Lisa asked as she looked over my shoulder. I was looking for jobs on the computer and decided to start with cafes. There were so many options around my area!
"Yeah, I don't know which one to choose, though," I sighed.
"The Coffee Hut sounds good. You work from 3 to 6. Only 3 hours!"
"Hmmm...yeah," I clicked on The Coffee Hut which led me to their official website. I then clicked on "Jobs".
"Hey, look! 2 more spots left. HURRY, LAUREN, SIGN UP!" Lisa screamed, already grabbing the mouse and clicking on "Sign Up",
"Calm your horses, Lise!" I laughed. She was one crazy lady!
I typed in all of my personal details and clicked "Done" after clicking on "I agree to the Terms and Conditions". Who even bothers reading the Terms and Conditions? And who even bothers writing out the Terms and Conditions when no one actually reads it?
"Yay! Oh, it says you have to go to The Coffee Hut on Monday 3pm and they will train you. You can then officially start working on Tuesday," Lisa said as she read out the words from the screen. This was all making me so nervous!
"So that's in 2 days, Lauren," Lisa explained.
"Yes, yes, I know Lisa! I can actually read, you know?"
"Sure, sure"

It was 5pm and the whole Cimorelli family was at the beach.
"Lauren! Come join in the fun you lonely elephant!" Dani shouted as she splashed sea water on Katherine's face. I really wasn't in the mood for fun. I kept worrying about Monday. What if all the staff there were rude and they never actually trained people to work? What if they just gave me a uniform and made me start clearing up tables and I had to act as if everything was okay?
"Lauren, what's wrong?" Amy asked as she came over to me.
"I'm just freaking out about my part time job. What if the manager turns out to be a ferocious lion?" I said.
"That is highly unlikely, girl! Look, there's no need to worry. They're going to train you well and trust me, you will meet at least one person who you'll become good friends with. Now, forget about all this and let's go splash all the guys"
"Alright, let's go!"
"Alex, teach me how to surf!" Amy called, walking over to Alex.
"No!" I heard him shout, a far distance away.
"Hey look Christian, a dreamy-eyed monster," Joey said, holding his water gun.
"ATTACK!!" Christian screamed.
"AAHHHH! No, go away!" I screamed as they started tackling me.
"Lisa, Dani, HELP!" I tried screaming. Then, they let me go. Finally!
"Lauren, come and help me fill these balloons!" Lisa shouted.
"Sure! Who are we going to attack?" I replied.
"Anyone"
"You think about who to attack? I'd say go attack Alex because he's not teaching me how to surf!" Amy cried as she came over and began helping us.
"Sure! Alex, here we come! Who run the world?"
"GIRLS!!" Amy and I screamed.
"Well done, well done," Lisa laughed.
"Ooo, water balloons!" Dani shouted.
"You could at least keep quiet about it! We don't want Alex to hear," Amy said, rolling her eyes.
"Oops, sorry," Dani whispered.
"Right, we are done!" Lisa exclaimed, getting up to brush the sand from her maxi skirt.
"Let's go!!" Amy cried, holding the bucket of water balloons.
