Summer in Karuizawa Part One

Rose's POV

"Hey Haruhi did you tell Tamaki a cover up story before we left?" I ask her as we fold sheets. It's summer vacation now ((Yes I know it was Christmas a few chapters ago hush!)) and we're helping out one of Haruhi's Dad's friends, Misuza, at his little pension in Karuizawa. I told Tamaki and Kyoya that I'm in the States for a bit.

"Um, I don't think I did, shit." She says.

"Fuck..." I say. We really didn't want them coming and ruining this.

"HARUHI! DON'T WORRY DADDY IS COMING TO SAVE YOU!" Tamaki says into a megaphone from a helicopter.

"That's it. I'm done with life. Just kill me now." She says.

"Hey, you don't have to live with him! He gets an 'amazing' idea at 3 am he wakes me up and tells me all about it." I say.

"Wow, that sounds horrible!" She says.

"It is!" I say.

~time skip~

"Haruhi why didn't you tell us you would be out here!?" Tamaki asks

"And why did you lie?" Kyoya asks me.

"We didn't want you guys to show up." I say.

"Yeah so can you please leave now?" Haruhi asks, but it sounds more like a statement.

"You two know that it's against the rules to have a job without the school going you the 'okay' to do so don't you?" Kyoya says with a smirk, trying to use that against us.

"Yes, but we don't get paid in anyway so it's volunteer work, which doesn't concern the school. Plus, my father knows I'm here helping out and I added that Haruhi would be here with me too. Check and mate Kyoya Ootori." I say with the same smirk on my face.

"Do you have any proof that your father is aware of where you are or that he has approved of this? Any?" He asks.

"Well.. um, no..." I say faltering for a moment, but quickly gathering myself again. "My first point still stands. We are not getting paid in any way so you couldn't count this as a job." I say.

"Misuza is letting you stay here as a form of payment." He says. I give up.

"Fine, I give up! Now what do you lot want?" I ask annoyed. 

"To spend time with the two of you!" Tamaki says, hugging Haruhi and the twins hug me.

"Ugh, no. Let go of me you assholes." I say to the pair. I was not in the mood for their shit.

"Oh, come on Rosey! You know you missed us!" Koaru says.

"Only Kyoya is allowed to call me Rosey and I did not miss you!" I say.

"Yes you did." Hikaru says and I glare at him making him let go and take a step back along with Koaru.

"Alright, maybe you didn't." Hikaru says.

"Rose-chan why are you two so mad we came?" Honey asks with puppy dog eyes.

"Because you aren't wanted here. Haruhi and I wanted some time to ourselves away from you guys." I say. Am I being mean? Yes. I haven't been able to sleep for the past week, can you blame me?

"To keep you 2 company we must all stay here!"

"No way!" Haruhi says.

"Plus, there is only one room left." I say.

"How about a little competition then." Hikaru says.

"Oh! How lovely! It can be a refreshing competition. After all, that's why people love coming out to Karuizawa, for the refreshing views and people and to relax!" Misuza says happily.
