The Beach

Rose's POV

I yawn and try to sit up, but Kyoya seems to have his arms around my waist. I smile to myself and turn to face him.

"Kyoya it's time for you to wake up." I say.

"Mmhm." He says still half asleep.

"Alright come on Kyoya wake up." I say.

"5 more minutes Rose." He says groggily and I giggle.

"Alright." I say and Kyoya pulls me a little closer and I can see him smiling. I wasn't able to fall back asleep, but Kyoya did so after 10 minutes I tried to wake him up again.

"Alright Kyoya really. It's time to wake up." I say and poke his chest.

"Fine." He says and sits up and swings his feet over the side of the bed and I do the same on my side. I'm about to leave the room for his to change, but he wraps his arms around my waist.

"Where you going?" he asks.

"Well I was just gonna wait in the hall while you change." I say. He kisses my cheek.

"Alright." He says and let's go of me. I wait outside of the room for a minute until he opens the door. I going and grab my bag that now also has my uniform in it and we drive tomy estate. He follows me up to my room, but stays in the hall while I change. I pick out a black bikini and through on a floral dress over it and a pair of white sandals and grab my pre-packed bag. I walk out on my room still putting my hair up in a bun.

"Ready to go then?" He asks.

"Yup." I say. Apparently Tamaki has already left.

~~2 hours later~~

Now at the beach everyone was doing host stuff, but Haruhi wasn't really. I am with my guests on a volleyball court. Me and Katsumi vs Tatsuo and Akira. I'm actually very good at volleyball. Me and Katsumi ended up winning, but not by much. Me and Katsumi then go up against Tomio and Junichi. That time the other team won so I sit down and relaxed for a minute.

"Rose could I ask a favor of you?" Kyoya asks sitting down next to me.

"Sure." I say

"Well by the sounds of how Hikaru and Kaoru are talking they will be starting a contest to find out you and Haruhi's greatest fears. And I would like to use those pictures of Haruhi that she asked you to keep safe as a prize." He says.

"Sure." I say and take them out of my bag and give them to him.

"Oh and I hope you don't mind, but I dug up some picture of you when you were in middle school and a few from this year. Those will be prizes if they guess your fear." He says.

"Let me see the pictures first." I say. He hands them to me and I look over them. one is a polaroid from just a minute ago. I take that one from the pile along with a picture of me from the resort, then hand them back. "Alright." I say. He gives me a kiss on the cheek and stands up.

"Oh and Kyoya, my greatest fear isn't thunder." I say.

"Oh?" He asks.

"And don't think I'll tell you." I say.

"Are you sure about that? Wouldn't someone else to get those pictures." Kyoya says with a slight smirk. I just roll my eyes as he walks away. A few of the girls come over to me.

"Rose! What are you doing just sitting! Come on!" Amayo says pulling me up and I smile.

"Alright." i say and the 3 or us meet up with Hikaru, Kaoru and Haruhi and we go to this cave. Kaoru starts telling this fake ghost story and then a fake ghost appears

"You 2 can do better than a silly ghost story can't you?" I ask the twins. We leave the cave and then Honey has me and Haruhi stand in the truck in the dark for .2 seconds before he starts freaking out. We leave the truck and I hang out with my guest for a bit before Amayo and Zoie asked me to join them on a wake and I accepted.

"You looked like you needed a little break from boys." Zoie says.

"Yeah, thanks." I say as we walk up this big rock.

"Hey Haruhi! You should come up here the view is great!" Amayo calls to haruhi.

"Alright, but be careful!" Haruhi says. 2 (very) drunk guys walk up the rock.

"Hey look what we found here." One says.

"You can't be here. This a private beach." Amayo says. The one that spoke before puts his arms around them.

"Cool does that mean we're here alone?" The other asks with a slurred tone.

"Hey! Leave them alone!" Haruhi says and as the guy closest to me isn't paying attention I'm able to punch him and Amayo runs. He grabs my hair and grabs Haruhi's shirt and pulls us near the edge of the rock.

"What are you gonna do pipsqueak?" he asks Haruhi. Tamaki and Kyoya run up and he pushes us of. But you see, I'm afraid of the ocean. I'm having a panic attack underwater! I need air, but there is none. I see Tamaki jump in. He turns to me, but I just point at Haruhi signalling for him to get her first. he does so and I see Kyoya jump in as I black out.

Kyoya's POV

I grab Rose and quickly pull her to the surface. I don't get it. She can swim. What was stopping her from swimming? She coughs and she ends up coughing up some water, but that's all she does before passing out. we reach the beach as Tamaki finishes lecturing Haruhi.

"Is Rose alright?! Kaoru asks.

"I believe she is." I say.

"I thought Rose can swim." Hikaru says.

"She can." I say. I start thinking. All day she didn't go in the water, I swear I saw fear in her eyes. She seemed so afraid. "Afraid of the ocean." I say.

"What?" Hikaru asks.

"Rose is afraid of the ocean." I say. I carry her inside and lay her down on a bed. I go to dinner. It's really quiet. I hope Rose is okay. I hope she wakes up soon.

"Kyoya could you show me to my room?" Tamaki asks me.

"Yes, follow me." I say.

~~5 minutes later~~ Rose's POV

I sit up in bed. Kyoya must have brought me here. I need to thank him. I change into a large shirt that reads 'I'm a Cas Girl' and has a picture of Castiel angel of the lord from Supernatural. I walked the hall until I heard his voice. I knocked on the door and opened it and froze.

"S-sorry for interrupting." I say tears welling up in my eyes. I run to my room and lay on the bed crying into my pillow.There is a knock on my door

"Go away." I say, but I hear the door open anyway.

"Hey Rose what's wrong?" Kaoru asks.

"Nothing go away." I say.

"Well why are you crying?" Hikaru asks.

"Just go away." I say.

"But we're your friends." Hikaru says.

"So it's our job to make sure you're happy." Kaoru says.

"Rose can I talk to you?" Kyoya asks from behind the twins. 'No' the logical part of my brain says.

"Fine." I say and Hikaru and Kaoru leave. Kyoya closes the door and walks over to me.

"I promise you it wasn't what it looked like. I would never do that to you and I wouldn't gain anything from it." he says hugging me.

"P-promise?" I ask.

"I promise you Rose." He says and kisses my forehead.
