Summer in Karuizawa Part Three - Stormy Days

Rose's POV

"Explain to me again how this is supposed to work?" I ask Kaoru. At the moment it's just the two of us. He had requested for me to bring him breakfast this morning and when I did he told me his plan.

"Well Hikaru and Haruhi will get closer after their day together. He obviously likes her and I can tell she likes him." Kaoru says. "I already set it all up."

"I believe you forgot something." I say and he looks at my confused. "Tamaki."

"We can control him." Koaru says.

"Someday Tamaki is going to realize how he feels about her. So will Hikaru. I guess it's a race to see which one of them realizes they love her first." I say.

"I think it'll be interesting won't you?" Koaru says.

"Yes, very. Me and Kyoya has a bet going. I think Hikaru will realize he loves her first. Kyoya has more faith in Tamaki." I say. "You know I still don't get why you had me bring you breakfast. I could have just come up here."

"Because I might as well get food out of it." He says starting to eat. I roll my eyes.

"Well I've got to get going then. If I'm taking the rest of the day off of work and Haruhi is too, then I'm going to have to do a lot this morning." I say and leave. I fix my hair while walking down stairs and paint on a large smile. I start helping to make breakfast and serving it to the people at tables. Considering I'm doing this all on my own I am a little slow. Every time I bring some their food I apologize for it taking so long.

 By the time breakfast rush is over I'm a little tired. Hikaru left with Haruhi a couple a minutes ago. Koaru comes down stairs and look surprised that I'm still dressed for work.

"Rose, what are you still doing dressed foe work everyone else is ready to go." Koaru says and I glare at him.

"Unlike you lot, I'm here working. I have responsibilities and because Haruhi wasn't helping I had to make and serve everyone's food this morning. You have no idea how long it takes to cook everything alone AND be serving it. It takes a while." I say.

"Alright fine. Go get changed into normal clothing and fix your hair." He says and I sigh, going to my room and doing so. I change into a pair of black high waisted shorts, a red tank top and a grey/black/white flannel, rolling the sleeves up to my elbows. Pulling on my converses I went down stairs where I met up with Tamaki, Kyoya, Honey, Mori and Koaru. It seemed a little weird to see Koaru without Hikaru. One thing I notice is Kyoya and Kaoru have snuck a glare at each other already. Kyoya smiled at me and slipped his hand into mine. I smiled back slightly.

"I didn't see you come in this morning, past couple days you've come in for breakfast." I say, wondering where he was.

"Sorry Rosey. I slept in this morning. Honey came and woke me up today." Kyoya explains and I nod. That's smart.

 We all start walking once Koaru finds Hikaru and Haruhi. Some how Haruhi's hair is in long, curly pigtails. How? Where did this hair come from? She also as on a baby blue shirt and a jeans along with a pink bag. She looked really pretty. There was only one problem with today. It's forecasted to rain. The news this morning said to expect thunderstorms. I'm not exactly excited about that and I know Haruhi isn't either. Her fear of thunderstorms is worse than mine. I really hope it doesn't storm. 

"You know guys, I don't think either of them will be happy if they find out we're doing this." I say. 

"Shhh. They might hear you Rosey!" Koaru says and I sigh, rolling my eyes. 

"I've told you not to call me Rosey, Koaru." I say in a hushed tone of voice.

"Quiet!" He says covering my mouth and I sigh, pushing his hand away from my face.

"Fine." I say pouting. Kyoya chuckles and kisses my cheek.

"Kaoru, being a little harsh don't you think?" Kyoya ask him.

"Oh would the both of you be quiet! They'll hear us." Kaoru says.

"They are like 6 meters (20 feet) ahead of us, calm down." I say ans Kaoru sighs.

"Fine." He says. I notice Tamaki is gone and I see him dressed up us the guy seller Haruhi an ice cream. I quickly pull him away before either of them realize it's him.

"Tamaki." I say with my arms folded.

"But it's not fair! I want to go on a date with Haruhi!" He whines.

"Well too bad. Now shut up about it." I snap. There is a quiet, low roar of thunder clearly far away and I tense up. Thunder can't hurt you, I remind myself.

"Rose, you okay?" Kyoya asks and I nod.

"I just hope it doesn't start storming soon..." I say.

~le time skip because I have writers block. I'm sorry~

There's a loud clap of thunder and I jump. It starts raining and Kyoya grabs my hand and leads me to a taxi and Tamaki gets in too. Honey, Mori and Kaoru get in a second one and we head back to the inn. With each clap of thunder I jump and Kyoya hugs me. Tamaki tries to reassure me that's everything is fine and it helps slightly. We arrive and get out, quickly going inside. I go up to my room and dry off, changing into a large hoodie and sweat pants before going back down to the boys who were drying off. Tamaki is on the phone with, who I guess, is Hikaru.

"-Now you need to go and find her right now!" He says and hangs up. Kyoya walks over and hugs me. My hands are shaking, but the steady a bit when I hug him back. He picks me up and we sit down on a chair. Kyoya kisses the top of my head and rubs my back.

"Stupid fucking thunder." I mumble and jump at another loud clap.

"It's alright. Everyone's afraid of something." Kyoya says. 

"Yeah! Spiders freak me out." Honey says.

"Curses and dark magic creep me out!" Tamaki says.

"Ventriloquist dolls give me the chills." Kaoru says.

"China dolls are scary." Mori says.

"What are you afraid of Kyoya? Tamaki asks.

"I'd rather not say." He says and I frown, but he smiles down at me. "I'll tell you later Rosey." I nod and let out a yawn.

"I've been up since the sun came up, I'm going to go to bed." I say and before I can get up Kyoya stands up, holding me bridal style.

"I'll carry you up." He says and we go up to my room. He lays me down on my bed and kisses me. "Good night darling."

"Good night Kyoya. I love you." I say, pulling the blanket over me.

"I love you too Rose." He says and leaves. I fall asleep almost right away.

A/N: I'M SORRY I TOOK SO LONG I'VE HAD MAJOR WRITERS BLOCK AND WITH SCHOOL ENDING I'VE HAD SO MANY TESTS AND PROJECTS AND A LOTS HAPPENED IN MY LIFE SINCE I'VE LAST UPDATED AND I'M REALLY SORRY. DON'T HATE ME.
