My Summer with the Friars: rucas EDITING

I can't be with you

Nathan's PoV:
I was walking in the middle of Disney land when my ex girlfriend Maddison walked up to me.
Nathan: hey maddie
Maddie: Could you sit down.
Nathen: actually I'm kind of busy right now.
Maddie: I need to tell you something is really important.
Nathen: ok but make it quick.
Maddie: my boyfriend left me.
Nathan: You have a boyfriend?
Maddie: yeah Chris
Nathan: why did he leave you?
Maddie: can you remember a couple of months ago when you came over to my house because you got into a fight with avery.
Nathan: yeah we got really drunk. It was weird we couldn't remember anything.
Maddie: I'm so sorry.
She started crying. She handed me an envelope which had my name addressed on it. I opened it and inside was a picture of an ultrasound. And a note saying
Your going to be a dad. I'm sorry. If you want to leave me and the baby then that's fine I won't hold it agenst you. I want you to know that we love you.
How am I going to tell avery to be honest we've not really been getting along lately we've not been like we usually are. I walk up to Avery's room with a wired look on my face.

Avery: where have you been you were only supposed to get me a drink.
Nathan: I'm so sorry avery but I don't think we should be with each other any more.
Avery: is this Lucas's idea of a joke.
Nathan: no. I can't be with you. What I have to say will hurt you so instead of seeing me as a monster you won't.
Avery: leave.
Nathan: Avery
Avery: LEAVE NOW! I NEVER WANT TO SEE YOUR FACE EVER AGAIN. I WAS RIGHT ALL ALONG  NO LOVE EVER LASTS AND WHAT DID I DO TO DESERVE A PRICK LIKE YOU!

Lucas PoV:
Me and Riley was watching frozen when avery ran in crying.
Riley: are you ok avery?
Avery: Nathan left me.
I  ran out of the room. Looking for Nathan's  room. I ran in and pushed him up to the wall
Lucas: what f*cking happened
I let go of him and he sat on the bed while I lent up agents the wall.
Nathan: remember Maddie.
Well me and avery had a fight a couple of months ago. Let's just say I'm going to be a dad.
Lucas: congrats bro.
Then I slapped him.
Lucas: she is my little sister and I won't let some prick ruin her life. AND IF YOU TOUCH HER AGAIN, YOU WILL REGET IT.
I walked out of his room and went straight to Riley's room.
Avery: Lucas where have you been?
Lucas: can you remember when I told you if Nathan hurts you I'll hurt him well. I keep my promises.
Avery: why did he leave me?
Lucas: do you remember Maddie?
Avery: I hated her.
Lucas: you'll hate her even more now.
Avery: why?
Lucas: she's pregnant. And guess who's the father. You ex boyfriend Nathan.
Avery: You know what it's not just Maddie's fault it's Nathan's as well. Next time I see him I'll slap him harder in the face than I did before.
Riley: you go girl
Lucas: look at Riley getting all up on your behalf
We all laughed because I'm that funny!
We was all casually talking about life, random things and getting to know each other more. I never even new that avery and Nathan had split up before. I suddenly heard a knock on the door. Avery went to get it and came running back crying...

Riley: NATHAN GET OUT OF MY ROOM NOW!
Nathan: I think aveery needs an explanation before I leave.
Avery: YOU HAVE A MINUTE.
Nathan: babe
Avery: DON'T call me that
Nathan: Avery. I'm sorry it had to end this way but I can't just leave the baby. I would never do that. Not to anyone. You know that. If our love means something then we might meet again but for now... I have to be with this baby. I never had a father and it was horrible and I don't want the baby to hate me because I'm not there. Bye avery.

This is not the end of Nathan. He will be coming back but it might not to win back avery. Also I want to thank MadihaBhamani for this chapters Story line and for the ideas she has given me to right future chapters.Sorry it wasn't a rucas chapter but the next chapter will have rucas moments and will carry on from this story line
