I woke up in a bed. It was soft and warm, but something was off. "This isn't my bed." I said out loud. "Nope, its mine." Said Jack, who was standing outside the door. We were in a smaller, cozy house. "I took the couch." He said. "How long was I sleeping for?" I asked. He chuckled. "You are welcome, only a couple days." Jack replied.

My stomach growled. "Lets get you some breakfast." Jack said happily. I got out of bed and followed Jack to the kitchen, then I realized I was still in my old clothes. "We will get you some new clothes today." Jack said, like he read my mind. I nodded. As he began to cook eggs, I looked around the house.

I then saw it, my saving grace, the door.

I quietly unlocked the door. Once I slowly opened the door, Jack turned his head, "what are you doing Nova?" he asked as he slowly walked up to me. "You can't keep me here." I said and sprinted out the door. "Wait!" Jack yelled.

I was suddenly tackled to the grass and I blacked out. I woke up 15 minutes later with Matt and Jack standing over me. "Jesus, I'm so sorry November." Matt said softly, like I might break like glass. I got off the grass and rubbed my head. "Are you okay?" Jack asked. I nodded.

I then heard, "Matt is so dumb." So I replied, "No he isn't, I mean, yeah my head hurts, but it was probably an accident." Jack and Matt looked at me like I was a ghost. "What?" I asked. "I didn't say anything." Jack whispered. "Me neither." Matt said. The boys looked at eachother, then back at me.

We stood there for a few moments, before I heard another voice, it was Matts. "Can you hear me Nova?" I looked over at him and nodded. His eyes grew wide. The next thing I knew, the boys grabbed my arms and dragged me back into the house.

They then sat me on the bed. I realized that I needed my heart pills, so I dug around in my bag. They weren't there. "Where are my pills? I need my pills!" I yelled at them. They both shrugged. "You must have dropped them." Jack explained. "Yeah, when you kidnapped me!" I screamed back at him.

Matt whispered something to Jack, Jack nodded, then walked into the kitchen. Matt stood at the door. "Do you even know where we are, Nova?" I shook my head. He sighed. "We are in a small town, where you grew up." Matt explained. I shook my head again. "No, that's not possible, I've lived with my father in the same house since the day I was born." I replied in disbelief. "It's true." Jack said, as he walked in the room with a tray of water and white chip macadamia nut cookies. "How else would we know this was your favorite snack?" Jack asked.

"Nova, you are very special, we have known you since you were 10, then you disappeared." Matt said sadly. I couldn't believe it. Just then, a man burst through the door holding what looked like my pills. "She dropped these in the car." The man said.

He looked older, mid 40's. he then handed the pills to me and I took one. "This is James." Jack said and pointed to him. "pleased to meet you my dear." James said and bowed. I nodded. He then left. "does anything here seem familiar?" Matt asked me. I shook my head.

"I don't know what you guys want, but this isn't cool. Kidnapping a girl and saying she knows you and that she is special? I don't buy it. Take me home now." I said sternly. Matt dropped his head. "What if we could prove it to you?" Jack asked. I decided that I should make them a bet. "If you guess all my questions correctly, I'll stay, but if you get one wrong, you take me home." I said. The boys looked at eachother, then back at me.

"Deal." Matt said.
