"Drawing, reading, and listening to music."

Jack answered and smiled. I shook my head in despair. "That's all ten, you lose." Matt said as he smiled. I blushed a bit. I don't know why, but I felt at ease. I Tried to hide it though.

"So, what would you like to do first?" Jack asked with a warm smile." "Well, I'd like to ask a few hundred questions." I said sternly. Matt laughed as If I weren't serious. He then said, "Well go ahead, ask away." I took a deep breath and said all at once,

"Where am I? How do you know me? Why was I kidnapped? Why did you have to take me ON MY BIRTHDAY? Why did you shoot Meg? Is she okay? What else do you know about my life?"

Jack and Matt looked at each other, stunned at my amazing breathing abilities. Jack then took an even deeper breath, and said all at once, "We are in a small village called Chlora, we grew up with you, we want to help you, you have that necklace," as he pointed at my mother's pearl necklace, "Meg isn't your friend, trust me, and she's fine, it was a tranquilizer dart." Jack let out a huge breath. Matt laughed. I gently took of my necklace and held it out to them. "What about my necklace?" I asked them.

In one quick move, Matt snatched the necklace out of my hand. I screamed. "Give it back." I yelled. Jack grabbed me and held me back. Matt looked at me sadly and whispered, "I'm sorry." As he smashed in on the ground. I screamed frantically as tears ran down my face. Then Jack let go of me and picked up something from the shards, inside the large pearl was a note.

I ran over to the pearl shards and tried picking them up, cutting my hands. Matt then ran over to me and pulled me away from the last pieces of my mother that I had, as Jack stood there, reading the note. "How could you?" I cried, trying to get away from Matt's strong grasp. Jack looked up from the note, and said quietly, "Let her go, she needs to see this." Matt nodded and let me go. I used that moment to run up to Jack, and knock him down. He was in shock and didn't move. I punched him hard in the stomach, then once in the face before he fought back. He didn't hit me or anything, he grabbed my hands and we both looked into eachothers eyes.

A tear ran down his face. It wasn't because I hit him, I could tell. I pulled him close and hugged him, I don't know why, but it felt nice. Matt walked beside us and picked up the note Jack had dropped when I hit him. His eyes scrolled across the small piece of paper, widening as he read. Then I heard, "We were right. It is her." I pulled away from Jack and looked over at Matt. "Right about what?" I asked. Matt looked at me, his eyes still wide. He then said to me,

"Nova, tell me about your heart pills."
