Moving in with a best friend!

Kohaku's POV

"I believe you know him! I mean his name is Naruto Uzumaki!" He said. Sweetened butter nuts! Is this old gezzer for real? My eyes popped out of my head as I faintly smiled. I can't believe it! I'll be living with someone I am at least familiar with. I smiled even bigger at the thought of living with Naruto. "But if you don't want to you can always live with-"

"I'm living with Naruto, old man! No ifs ands or butts!" I said cutting him off. He smiled faintly at my words as I had determination written across my face. "I'll even show other people that he is not a bad person! uh... by the yeah why do people look at him with such cold eyes?"

He frowned and sighed before answering me, "Twelve years ago the nine tailed fox demon had been released and distroyed half of the village. No one could beat him until the 4th Hokage sealed it into a newborn baby who's imbeicord has just been cut. That baby was Naruto and because he had the nine tailed fox inside him the Shinobi who knows about it dispise him. And because of their hatred the villagers pick up the hatred and pass it on to he children even they don't know why exactly."

I sniffled and rubbed my eyes before standing up suddenly, "They shouldn't dispise him! He saved this village and should be honored and called a hero! Not some piece of crap on the road!" What the hell!!! Thats horrible! Why would anybody hate someone because they have someone else inside them who caused evil!? Its not like the demon it's self is Naruto. Naruto is his own person! He has his own thoughts and feelings. How could someone be so cruel to a boy like that?

"hm thats what The 4th said."

"wha?"

"The 4th wanted everyone to think Naruto as a hero and not some dead scum, he made it his last wish, his last words for people to do just that."

"Then why do people not follow that simple wish?!" This is infeariating! I mean its not so hard to follow and its not hard to think of Naruto as a hero.

"Becuase people are scared, scared that Naruto won't be able to uphold the demon. That the demon will remake an apperiance and finish off what it has started." Well thats simple but even so I can tell that everyone can tell he is strong inside and out.

"That still dosen't make any sense." I said grumbling and crossed my arms.

"Kohaku, One of the reasons I am putting you with Naruto I because your the second one to believe in him, to give him hope."

"What do you mean hope?"

"Hope that there is still love and friendship in the world for Naruto. You see he has never really had someone to congratulate him on something he did good and scold him when he did bad. He wants to have the feeling that he is wanted." He said as he looked straight at me. Did he really want all that stuff? Darn it Kohaku! You should know this kind of stuff! Well sorry I only know him for like five hours! Not enough to know everything! KOHAKU THE OLD MAN IS TALKING AGAIN SO PAY YOUR LAZY ASS ATTENTION!! Haha I'm starting to sound like Kimi. "So anyway Naruto and Iruka are at the ramen shop right now so we will join them soon." He said while getting up. I smiled at walked out after him as he left the room.

"Alright!"

"But you might want your bag?" He said as he handed me my backpack I redden a bit but take it anyway. They must have taken it when I was in the hospital to see it I was threat which it was understandible. I hitched the strap onto my shoulder which made it fly up and land on my back. The Hokage just gave me a slight smile as I walked with a jump in my step. "You seem to be happy."

I looked back at him surprised before answering him, "Well yeah, I get to stay with my first friend here in The Leaf."

"Is that so?"

"Yup!" A comfortable silence over came us as we walked to the ramen shop. With each step my smile widened and my heart quickened. I don't know why but I guess I have always felt like this when my blueish eyes met his own warm blue orbs. It dosen't make it better that I'll be living with him, but that could be ignored. When my eyes caught ahold of the ramen place I couldn't keep my excitment rolling off me in waves. The Hokage looked at me and smiled softly at my excitment to see Naruto again.

We finally reached the ramen stand and I was looking for a blonde head when the Hokage pointed him out. I gave him a closed eyed smie before running at him.

"NARUTOOOOOOOOOO!" I screamed his name as quite abit of people looked at me like I was crazy. I shrugged my shoulders, haters ganna hate. My smiled left my face as he turned around his eyes widen before we collided. I wrapped my hands around his neck and gave him a hug and not letting go untill he returned my hug. We sayed at the embrace for awhile untill we broke away a little red but still smilling.

"I HAVE SOMETHING TO TELL YOU!" He said as I said the same thing. "You first!"

"Nope you said it first so you say what you have to say!" I said stubbornlingly. He sighed and smilled before taking something out from behind his back. My eyes widened as I looked at the glistening head projector with the Leaf symbol. He passed.... Naruto passed..... "Oh my god Naruto! I told you would get it!" I said smilling bigger than ever. Something in his eyes passed but I didn't quite catch it.

"Okay! Now its your turn to tell."

"I don't think it's as special as you passing," The same thing passed through his eyes, "But i am not offically living with you!" HIs smiled grew wider as he took me in his arms and smiling into my hair. My eyes widened but I quickly grew back from my shock and hugged him back as I burried my head into his chest.

"Thats way better then my news!" He said and I just shook my head.

"No the best news would to hear that it was going to rain Pocky's" I said pointing to the darkened sky.

"True very true." He then turned to Iruka-sensai, who by the way I didn't see until now. "Bye Iruka-sensai we'll see you tomarrow!" Iruka-sensai smiled with a proud but yet pained expression. I hope I didn't do anything. Maybe I'll ask him tomarrow. "Come on Kohalu! I'll show you to the house!" He then grabbed my hand which sent the weirdest sensaion of electricity shoting through my arm. We both reddened again but we recovered again as he pulled me along telling me how to get there in case I get lost.
