(Kohaku's POV)
I folded my clothes into neat piles before shoving them into my backpack. I then grabbed my pj's and my books and had them meet up with my clothes. I then went to my drawer to pick out my under "gear" and quickly shoved those to the bottom. I then hooked the latch up and threw the bag straps over my arms and onto my back. Last I packed my scrolls, kunai, shurikien, and other weapons before walking out of my room. Right when I walked out of the door I ran into the one and only, Naruto Uzumaki. I felt my heart rate speed up alittle bit as his bright blue eyes met my pale, dull ones.
"Are you ready, Kohaku?" He said excitedly making it impossible for me not to smile. I learned very quickly that his pearly whites are very powerful at controling peoples feelings. Expecially mine. Everytime he smiled at me, which is alot mind you, my feelings and nerves are turned to mush and hyperactive particles.
"HA! I was born ready!" I said back just as excitedly.
"THEN LETS DO THIS THING!" He yelled playfully.
"AGREED!" I yelled back, just as playfully. We laughed as we ran out of the door and towards the entrance gates of the village.
"So Naruto," I said catching his attention, "Why are you so excited about this?"
"Hmm well its my first time being out of the village!" He replied.
"Really?!" I said. I thought everyone had been out of the village and into the forests around this beautiful place. Welp I guess that thought was wrong.
"Yeah!" His simply reply brought me out of my thoughts to come face to face with the rest of my team. I was listening to Naruto's and Tazuna's fiight when Sakura pulled me off to the side.
"Yeah Sakura?" I asked.
"Hi to you too. And whats going on between you and Naruto?" She said making me look at her with wide eyes.
"What do you mean? Nothing is going on between us!" I replied she just "mmhmmed" me before Naruto cut her off.
"I'LL KILL YOU!" We both sweat dropped as we saw Naruto trying to go after him for the second time today. A silence settled over us before I dragged Sakura away from the group alittle bit more so they wouldn't over hear.
"Sakura, I trust you. So please don't tell anyone of this!" I pleaded with her in a whisper.
"Of course! I would never tell anothers secret!" She whispered back before leaning closer into me..
"hhhhh. Okay so I-I think I m-might have a crush on N-Naruto." I whispered to where I hardly made sound at all. She squealed loudly before hugging me tightly. The others sweat dropped and slowly looked at us. I shushed her before sliding back even more. In some ways Bubblegum kind of reminds of Kimi. But I said kind of. I just know Kimi is going to be worse. Greaaaaaattttttt. CURSE DA STRAWPIGS!
"Thats so awesome! We have to get you guys together! You guys would make a cute couple!" She whisper yelled. I just blushed a bright red and nodded my head. We slide back over to the group and acted as nothing had happened. Then Sakura got Kakashi into a boring lecture about the Shinobi countries and wasn't having any of that. So I took out my guitar and strung a few chords before singing a few lyrics from Green day.
Another turning point, a fork in the road.
time grabs you by the wrists directs you where to go,
So make the best of this test and don't ask why,
It's not a question but a lesson learned in time,
It's something unpredictable but in the end it right,
I hope you had the time of your life! I started the long instrumental frame but I was cut off by non other then Duck-ass.
"Hn. That was actually pretty good." He said in his monotone. Fuck now I wanna punch him. Oh well haters ganna hate.
"Yeah that was awesome Kohaku! Believe it!" Naruto yelled in awe making me go bright red. Just then I noticed the puddle behind Kakashi. Thats weird it hasn't rained for day so why would there be a puddle? Just then two guys popped up and wrapped Kakashi in a metal, spiked chain.
"one down"
