A promise

(Kohaku's POV)

Shit.

While Naruto froze he must have gotten scratched by those damned poisoned claws. I swear I'm going to gently set a strawberry in their mouth then brutally rip their heads off! I chuckled evilly at the idea of seeing to their deaths that everyone consciously backed away from me.

"What?" I said blinking innocently.

"N-nothing." Sakura shuddered. I shrugged and glared at the two ninjas making them squirm under my intense gaze. Or it could be Kimi's. Now that shit is scary. You never. never! Ever want to be under that gaze. Ever.

"This original c-ranked mission had just turned into a b-ranked mission. This is way out of our boundaries." Kakashi said to the beer man. Oh wait he said something?

"Yeah! Were not ready for this kind of stuff! We should just turn around so we can go get a treatment for Naruto's wound!" Sakura exclaimed nervously. Woos.

"Yeah this could be to much." Kakashi said well more to himself anyway. I turned around just then to see Naruto's outraged face. Crap Naruto, what are you thinking of doing?

"We better just go back and heal Naruto." Kakashi said. And that's when my question was answered. I watched helplessly as Naruto took out his own kunai and stabbed his hand with it. My eyes widened as a look of pain crossed his face but was quickly replaced with determination.

"Damn it why? I should becoming stronger and I've even practiced jutsu by myself!" Naruto said.

"Naruto what are you-" Sakura started by was cut off by Kimi's hand moving infront of her.

"I will never run! I'm not going to be saved ever again! I will never lose to Sasuke! I swear it on this pain in my left hand! With this Kunai I'll protect the old man and all my friends. Not the other way around. We're continuing the mission!" Naruto said. Okay I think I officially made my crush for Naruto now.

"That's nice but if you don't wrap that your going to die from blood loss." Kakashi said matter of factly. Naruto's eyes widened before he started freaking out and saying he was to young to die. I laughed before going over to him and grabbing his injured head.

"Dude calm down." I laughed. He calmed down and stared into my eyes. I blushed and looked down as I grabbed a cleaning agent. I gently dressed his wound and blushed even darker as I felt his eyes on my face. I started wrapping his hand up when I noticed his cut was already healing.

'The nine tailed-fox' Kimi said into my mine. 'Sweet your boyfriend is fricken strong'

'S-shut u-up he's n-not my b-boyfriend'

'Sure.' Just then a trickle of sand that only Kimi and I saw moved around her foot.

'Kimi your boyfriend is calling' I told her back.

'Well played. Well I guess I better go. See yeah sis.' Then all of a sudden she disappeared telling me to take it easy, a.k.a  no fighting until I have healed.

"Who was that?" Sasuke said.

"I'll tell you when the time is right." I replied smiling as I finished wrapping Naruto's hand. "There all done."

"Wow your good." Naruto said as he examined the wrapping. I smiled as my ego grew a little bit. 

"Hn. please don't make her ego grow even more." Sasuke muttered as I glared at him.

"Come on guys lets go!" Sakura called. And just like that we started moving again.

I shivered and wrapped Naruto's coat closer to my body. We were on a boat going to the Land of Waves. And there was a lot of fog and the cold air hit my wound making me shiver every five seconds. God I wish Kimi was here still. She would be able to clear this all away and tell if something is following us.

"Gosh this is creepy." Sakura said with fake scaredness she scooted closer to Sasuke. It was kind of funny cause he was already against the side to the boat. I raised my eyebrows as I leaned against Naruto casually.

"Yeah what is with all this fog huh?" Naruto said curiously. He moved a little bit as if to get comfortable but he ended up moving closer to me. I blush slightly as he doesn't try and move away. H-he was o-okay with it. Blushed harder as Sakura started smirking at me.

"We should be able to see the bridge soon." The boat driver said suddenly, breaking the silence. We all looked to the side to see a giant bridge. And I mean giant.

"WOAH THATS HUGE!" Naruto exclaimed.

"Dude you stole the words right out of my mouth."

"Shut-up why do you think I don't have the motor on?" The boat man silently yelled at us.

"Because you have bad gas and you want everyone to know?" I asked. Everyone snickered, even duck-ass smirked and snorted just a little bit. The boat man turn red with anger and ignored me.

"Nice one, Kohaku!" Naruto said as  he still laughed. I melted a little bit . Geeze this boy.
