The prolonged chapter before the test

(Kohaku's Pov)

I yawned and almost basically fell over, we've basicaly have been climbing two sets of staires now. Fat woman's got to rest once in awhile, at least one.

"How much longer Duck-ass?!" I whined and a anger mark appeared on his forehead,

"We've only been climbing stairs for only two minutes!" I whined and Sasgay looked sharply at Naru-Kun. Naruto shrugged and looked towards me.

"Kohaku-chan if you do this without anymore complaining I'll give you a treat." I stopped and my eyes widened... Nutellla?! I nodded quickly and he smiled.

"Nuuuutttellllllaaaaa!!!~" I sang as I spread my arms out and ran up the stairs.

"At least she isn't complaining anymore. " I heard Naruto say. I stopped at the second level and saw a bunch of people watching a group of kids getting beat up at room 201. Oh I see, the kids are just trying to appear weak so they other guys- ahh I get it. I SMART! FEAR ME!!

"Thaaaaaats alot of dumb people. Their crowding around 201... when their supposed to be at 301." I said with my hand on my chin. Wonder.

"What do you mean? We're obviously at the third floor!" Naruto said walking up to me.

"Look at the sign. See the glimmer around it?" He looked over at room sign thingie I was pointing at and shook his head. I thread my fingers through his hair and his headband on the sides of his head and forced his head to what I was talking about.

"Oh that glimmer." He said, still obviously not getting it. OH LLAMAS!

"And the fact that we only when up two flights of stairs... Yeaaaah were still on the second floor." Naruto bent his head in shame and depression and sat in a corner while the rest of us swear dropped.

"Common! Just let us pass!"

"You don't get it, we're doing this as a favor. Not all those that go into the chunin exams, come out alive. Or healthy." Sasgay, Sakura, and I all looked back to the two kids blocking the door, they look familiar, and team guy? Yeah Team Guy, was the group getting "beat-up"...... Oooo I see now!! Ahem, so yeah the girl on team guy (I forgot her name) walked closer in a fighting stance and the guy with a bandage over his nose picked up his foot, getting ready to kick her.

"Uh..." I looked over and saw a smirked on Sasuke's face. I sighed, great his ego is growing bigger. He's probably gonna stop the kick that guy is going to make. Next thing I know is that Sasuke is right beside me, and the next he's gone. SIDEKICK!! I so totally nailed it!! Sasuke had infact stopped the guys leg from denting the girls face and was basking in the affection he was getting. You don't think I know you. But I do duck ass, oh I so totally do. HA HA HA!!

"Uh Kohaku, scary laugh." I looked back a Sakura who seemed to be a little bit shaken. I gave her my best murderers smile and she squeaked a scream. I laughed and turned around to see Sasuke walk up the stairs, quite cockily I might add. I nudged Sakura's arm and we both jogged to catch up to Sasuke.

"Hey Naruto, I'm such a sidekick!!" I called out. "Naruto?" When he didn't answer back I turned around and my eyes widened. Naruto wasn't there. HO LLAMA CRAP WE LEFT HIM BACK THERE!!!!!

"IM SORRY NARU-KUN!! PLEASE FORGIVE ME!!!" After leaving Naruto, I quickly ran back to him. But he was pissed. Which explains why I'm hanging onto his waist with my legs and my arms gripping his shoulders sideways. And not to forget my crying. I felt him take a deep breath and his warm hands grabbed my waist and twisted me so I was now straddling him front wards. His hands grabbed my thighs to support me from falling down.
