(Kohaku's POV)

"God. The answer is...TEAMWORK!" Ha knew it! I knew it from the beginning! Nah I'm kidding. I only figured it out when I got the bells from Kakashi. "If you four worked together you might have gotten the bells. " I have them all a smirk and filled my arms as they looked down in same. Like a boss.

"But wait there are only three bells and four of us. We would of broke out into and argument." Sakura said. Hmm she dose have a point.

"Well of course. That was the design of this test. To make you fight among the test. " Huh? "It's was to see if you guys would forget your own interests and work together." Kakashi replied.

"Sakura, instead of helping Naruto. You kept trying to go after Sasuke who was far out of your reach. Naruto you just kept running around by yourself. Sasuke, you thought lowly of your team mates and thought that they would only get in the way. "

His eyes then landed on me making everyone else stare at me as well. I squirmed under there intense stares. "And Kohaku, actually one of the better out of you four. You actually asked for help, but you didn't push it. You just have up and took things into your own hands." And as if in cue the bells jingle when everyone shifted.

"What the...? " Sakura said as she reached into her pocket. Confusion was written on her face as she pulled out a bell.

"ha I guess your right Kakashi. I did take things into my hands. " I said as I gave then all a close eyed smile.

"Kohaku you can't do that to yourself! You have to pass as well! Believe it!" Naruto said as he tried to get free.

"You guys have to pass as much as I do. But to me, friends come first." I replied.

"Hmm she dose have a point. You do have to use teamwork to get your whole team safe. If you go individuality it could disrupt your teamwork and a comrade could be in trouble. For example," Kakashi pulled out a Kunai and held it to Sasuke's neck. "SAKURA! KILL NARUTO OR SASUKE DIES!"

"What!?" Naruto said looking back and forth. His eyes finally found mine before begging me to help. My eyes hardened and I nodded as I got into a fighting stance.

"You see, if a Hostage is taken then you'll have to make tough decisions. You'll be risking your lives in these duties." He then got off of Sasuke making everyone ease up. He continued on talking but my mind was stuck on a part of his words 'you'll be risking your lives'.

--------(flash back)---------

I was with Kimi and we were screwing around and playing random pranks on the clan. We were only eight but we were major pranksters. No one could match our skill. Probably cause we were crazy and tiny all in one package. Anyway, we had our face full of Gramps cookies as we ran away from him laughing.

Our clan was always so happy and care-free that they just laughed along and learned to make extra clothes. We stopped to chew and think of our next prank when my uncle walked by. I watched as he limped away and covered in blood?

"what's going on? " Kimi said as she hid behind me back. Since the beginning of time she has never liked him. I have no idea why but she just has.

"I don't know. Wanna find out? " I said. She had a look of concentration and opened her mouth but it wasn't her words that we heard.

"If you follow me you'll be risking your lives." he said from behind me. Kimi jumped and lowered her ears before hiding behind me again.

"Who said we would be following you? " I said laughing nervously. He just grunted and turned away wobbling into the sunset and wasn't to return till the moon struck the lake.

"My best friends name is also carved here. " Kakashi's voice snapped me from my day dreamland. What in the mother monkey eating world are they talking about? I looked over to see Kakashi standing infront of the K.I.A stone. Oh, that's horrible.

"I'll give you one more chance but it'll be tougher after lunch. Those who want to try again can eat. But don't give any to Naruto."

"WHAT!? "

"That's for trying to eat by yourself. And don't give any to him. " he said turning to us. "Anyone who dose fails immediately. And I'm the rules here got it!?" Then he teleported away from us.

"Haha is okay I don't need food! Believe it!" Naruto said but as if on cue his stomach growled hungrily. Yeah right don't need food my butt. Naruto, bro you need food, especially when you skipped breakfast. I snapped out of my thought them Sakura past out our lunch boxes making Naruto's stomach go off again.

"open your mouth." I commanded when I stood in front of him. Naruto opened his mouth shakily add the others have me confused looks. I ignored them as I took my chopsticks and got a hold of some rice. Their eyes widened as I put the rice Naruto's mouth.

"Fhat fre gou doinf?" Naruto tried saying but failed as the food got in the way.

"Shush and hurry up and eat or I'll take it all." I replied sternly. His eyes widened and he nodded before chewing quickly. I giggled loudly as he opened his mouth again asking for more.

"What are you guys doing?! " I heard Sakura say. I shoved another thing of rice into Naruto's mouth before looking at them. I saw Sasuke hold his lunch box out to Naruto as Sakura looked at him like he is crazy.

"Giving Naruto my food. " He said in his monotone. I moked him behind his back making Naruto laugh, considering he was the only one who saw me.

"But why you heard Kakashi-" she replied. Wow, dose she seriously not like Naruto? Nah... She's just a major rule follower.

"Yeah, but we need everyone's strength. And if Naruto it's hungry, he'll not be able to fight." He replied sternly. I then mimicked a missile falling out of the sky and exploding causing Sakura to glare at me and Naruto to laugh out loud.

"Huh, here." She said holding her lunch out as well. Then half of there plates were dumped onto mine, as they all made me feed him(not that I minded).

"Haha thanks guys!" Naruto said as he gave us all smiles. But as I feed our selves, I had extra chopsticks, I realised that his eyes we glued to my face. I blushed a little bit but continued feeding him. Then all of a sudden a loud bang with lots of smoke went off making us all jump.

"YOU GUYS!" Then we jumped again as Kakashi's mad face came into view. "Pass! " He continued sweetly. Everything was nice and quiet before I started laughing.

"Pass? But why? " Sakura said, ignoring me.

"You guys are the first. Everyone else I told this to actually listened to me and didn't do anything. Those who break the rules and codes of the ninja are called scum. But those who don't take care of their comrades are lower then scum. " He said with a distant look in his eye. Wow, Like a boss.

"That's it! You all pass! Becoming of tomorrow Team seven will start their missions!" Naruto and I cheered about being a ninja while the others took off. I smile before walking to get my necklace from which is laid in the grass behind the posts, away from sight.

"GOD DAMMIT! I KNEW THIS WOULD HAPPEN! UNTIE ME! " I laughed to myself as I heard Naruto call out in anger.

"Dude calm down I'm right here! " I chuckled as I took out my Kunai. I then took the blade to the ropes and cut threw, letting him slide to the ground. When I got the last of the rope cut I was pulled into a warm, bone-crushing hug.

"Yay! Thank you, Kohaku!" He said with a smile on his face. I smiled back but a light blush covered my cheeks and nose as he took my hand and pulled me away from the forest. "Now let's go back home!" And with that he pulled me back to the house.
