The Hunt

Ch.8

Aaron growled "we have to kill him" he said with hurt and anger in his alpha tone. He then sighed and ran his hand through his hair.

"Tonight we have to kill him, I know it's bad but we can't have any human knowing of us." Aaron growled I went over and hugged him, I know it hurt going to have to kill Gunnar and his other friend he told. Hunter just sighed and looked just as disappointed as Aaron did.

Hunter left after a while, Aaron told the whole pack at a meeting. They all were kinda excited but didn't like the fact of killing someone. Aaron dismissed everyone before texting Gunnar, telling him to come to the woods with his friend at 9:30pm. Gunnar didn't know what we were gonna do so he just replied a ok.

Aaron looked at me "are you gonna want to become apart of this?" He asked. I looked at him and nodded my head yes. Aaron then went to the forest and shifted. I followed him and we ran all over the forest. I could see Cody's black fur with his only white paw and Anna's chocolate brown fur.

They decided to join us in our run, after a while everyone shifted back and went to the pack house.

Aaron and I walked to his room "Are you ok?" I asked him. He looked and me and shrugged and laid back down. I went by his side and snuggled close to him. We took a small nap together before someone knocked on the door.

I got up to open the door it was Cody.

"Hi Cody" I said smiling at him "Hi Skylar, I wanted to tell u that its almost 9:30pm" I looked at him and nodded "ok we will be out soon" he smiled then left. I went to Aaron and kissed him then back away a little for him to wake up.

"That didn't work" my wolf said I then poked him repeatedly on his hard chest. Then opened his eyes, BINGO, and smiled I kissed him again an said "it's almost 9:30pm" he got up quickly and took a shower. After him I did the same. I then looked at the clock it was 9:27pm. Aaron and I went outside to were the pack was already waiting at.

Soon Gunnar an his friend arrived, Cody and other wolves glared at them. Gunnar looked at all of then and just shrugged, he went over to Aaron and hugged him. But Aaron pushed him back

"Did you tell your friend here about us?!" Aaron said furiously my wolf whimpered a bit. Gunnar looked at the ground and said "well... Uh... Yea" Aaron glared at him "I trusted you!" He yelled at him "you know what we have to do" he told Gunnar, the poor human looked scared out of his mind. His friend that was named Joshua was scared also.

"You and your friend have to run through the woods and see if you can make it out and live today, if not your lives are given to the wolves." Aaron said Gunnar looked at Aaron "please dude I didn't mean to" he said Aaron just looked away. Aaron got a knife and got Gunnar's and Joshua's wrist and sliced it. There wrists began to bleed and it sure turned the pack members on. Some of there eyes changed to there wolves color.

Luke was trying hard fighting off his wolf to not coming out yet. So was Jace and

Noah. The others just growled, I smelled the blood but I could control my wolf. "Let's go already!" My wolf growled "shut up!" I told her. Aaron's eyes weren't his normal eyes anymore.

He led Gunnar and Joshua to the forest. "Go" Aaron told them. They both took off sprinting in the woods. Jace growled and was gonna go after them but Aaron yelled at him "Jace!" Jace then bowed his head. We waited for a while so the two humans could get a head start. Aaron then took my hand and nodded. That was my signal to shifted with him. We ran through the forest in our human forms, right with the pack behind us. Then we jumped and shifted. Aaron's fur was pitch black while mine was white as the snow.

The other shifted to I could hear them growling and snarling wanting the humans already. Aaron growled, we then stopped and smelled the air. The humans were close by. We all smelled it and growled. We continued to run after the humans.

We then saw Joshua he was running, Noah,Jennifer,Luke, Jace, Lauryn, and Sophie went after him. The rest of us soon saw Gunnar and caught up to him. "Oh god no! Help!" He yelled Aaron growled and snarled I did the same. Cody and Anna were on Gunnar's left and right while Alexis was behind him with Lucas. And Aaron and I stood in front of Gunnar, I growled showing my white teeth.

Soon Gunnar was dead, but then we all whimpered and howled.Oh god no that only means another wolf is dead. We raced back to we're they killed Joshua. Jace was on the floor, dead

I growled and we all shifted behind a tree and got dressed.

"Did Joshua do this?!" I said growing furious. Noah nodded "He had real silver" Real silver could kill any wolf it would burn inside a wolf if they ever got killed by something with real silver. We all sighed and cried of course. We had the funeral that day at night we all said our words. After we all went to the house. Aaron and I took another shower.

I then snuggled close to Aaron he just sighed. He was thinking about Jace and how he had to kill one his friends. Soon we both fell into deep sleep.
