Many long hours had passed during the journey to Head Quarters and it was almost nighttime when Belle had reached her destination. She was already drifting off to sleep while looking at the view in the carriage window while sitting across from Erwin, as she held her navy blue cloak around her to get comfortable. Her eyelids were nearly on the verge of closing as she watched the sky changing colours due to the sun setting and it was nearly turning a dark blue. She couldn't help but think about how she would find her missing brother and make sure he would be safe.

"Hey, sleepy head. We've arrived."

The commander's voice broke Belle out of her thoughts and almost sleep, her eyes snapping open as the carriage stopped and she looked out the window.

The building was a very large castle, that no one could miss. Belle was lost for words as Erwin stepped out of the carriage first and helped her out in the manner of a gentleman. She was charmed by the commander who had such a gentlemanly side of him.

Once they were out of the carriage, Belle began to follow Erwin inside. She looked around and spotted cadets in their uniforms with the Wings of Freedom emblem that caught her eye.

"Step lively, Miss Boyer. Levi's office isn't far in the headquarters." Belle got back to focusing on following Erwin upon hearing his voice as he lead her through many halls and corridors, passing many of the cadets' rooms until they stopped at a pair of large double doors upon which the commander knocked.

"Enter." A monotone voice sounded and Erwin opened the door, revealling a large office. A large brown desk in the middle of the room on a blue circular rug with two chairs in front, a bookcase in the back with many books lined up neatly, a large blue couch on the right side of the room and a cabinet containing cleaning supplies and on the left side of the room were two doors that each led to an adjoining bedroom and bathroom, a lamp standing beside it in the corner and to top it all off, a flag of the Scouting Legion, showing the Wings of Freedom emblem.

Seated behind the desk in a gold framed, red velvet cushioned chair was a young man, clad in a similar uniform, a white cravat around his neck complete with black hair and smoky grey eyes that met Erwin's icy blues as they both exchanged salutes.

"Belle Boyer, is it?" The stoic captain asked.

Belle nodded as she entered the office. "Oui."

Levi looked her over before motioning for her to sit which she obeyed as he began to check her papers. All she would do is sit and keep her composure firm as possible, knowing what her superior would be like towards her like he is with other cadets and squad leaders.

"It also appears that you happen to be the sister of my missing cadet, Claudius Boyer." Explained Levi, her grey eyes meeting Belle's, an eyebrow raised slightly.

"Yes, sir. I will find him someday and bring him back home." Belle nodded again.

"Yes. Cadet Boyer was a good fighter." Levi sighed upon seeing a photo of Claudius with the cadets on the wall before going back to reviewing Belle's papers while she sat, waiting.

After a few minutes of reviews, the ebony haired male stood from his chair and began to escort Belle to her sleeping quarters, going over rules with her knowing that he runs a very tight ship in the Survey Corps Scouting Legion.

"And here is where your sleeping quarters are." Levi stopped at a door and so did Belle as he opened it and lead her inside.

It was a very simple room with a mahogany wood wardrobe on one side with a mirror against the wall. Beside the window was a little desk and chair with a bookcase with many different novels perfectly aligned and on the other side of the room was a comfy single bed with white covers, white pillow and a white throw blanket. Sitting on a pillow was the cadet uniform all neatly folded in a pile.

"I'll see to it that you're comfortable here, brat." The captain informed Belle as she went inside. "You'll begin working with us tomorrow. Until then, we hope you're comfy here."

Belle nodded and they both exchanged salutes before Levi left, closing the door and leaving her to her new lodgings.

After he left, Belle gazed out of her open window watching the sunset turning to night with a full moon and thousands of tiny stars, vowing that she will find her beloved brother and bring him home safely someday.
