The morning after I woke up to a shooting pain in both of arms. It took me a moment to review what had happened the night before.
I looked down at my bare arms analyzing the damage I had done the night before. Just then I heard the step-monster yell at me from downstairs "Farkle Minkus you get your lazy ass out of bed or you are going to be late for school and I am NOT going to drive you!!!"
I almost jumped out of bed and ran to my closet. I grabbed at black sweatshirt and threw it on on top of my bare skin. I took off my pants I had worn yesterday and put on another pair of black jeans. I ran downstairs to grab my bag and some lunch money. I ran out of the house and to the subway station. Please don't let me be late. I thought.
I ran towards the subway station taking out my phone to check the time, 7:28 am. "Crap," I thought out loud.
After a few more moments of running I made it to the station. I took my city transit card out of my pocket and swiped it so I can get into the station.
In all of my hurrying, I wasn't paying attention to where I was going, and I ran into a small, fragile body. "Oh my gosh, I am so, so, so sorry."
I looked up from my boots to see who I ran into, and it was none other than Riley Matthews...
