when the smiles were truly real?
When you could focus on the good not the bad?
When love, safety and happiness was all that we could feel?
When blades were just in sharpeners and razors once again.
When cuts were just when you fell over onto the concrete.
When being depressed was only for the people who were "insane"
When every mistake you made could just be deleted.
When the only heartache you had was when Winnie the Pooh ran out of honey.
When your tears magically went away.
When Tv shows and video games were the only things on your conscience.
When you jumped out of bed at the crack of dawn every day.
Oh but wait you're stuck in the now.
When the smiles are fake.
When looking at the good is something your mind just can't allow.
