Chapter 24:

Harry

I closed my eyes. The shot fired and i waited for the pain to come. For the death. It never came. I was too afraid to open my eyes and find blood everywhere. I slowly opened my eyes and saw something i never expected.

Nichole

I saw Harry close his eyes. Samantha was about to shoot Harry when Kaylee jumped up from the floor and tackled Samantha. She was on top of her and the shots fired and i gasped. Kaylee's eyes widened.

I ran and took the gun from Samantha. Harry opened his eyes. He was shocked and seemed to be glued to the walls. Samantha pushed Kaylee over and blood spilled out of her body.

"Kaylee!" I ran towards her body and Kris came from behind me.

"It's.....okay.....you....deserved to....live." She said. I cried against her chest. Kaylee's hand met mine.

"No! Don't die on me! You like my sister Kaylee i need you!" She looked so peaceful as if she didn't mind that she wasn't going die. Her lips looked dry and her eyes looked dead. Her body was limp and her hands were getting cold.

"I love you....all. Even Louis." Harry knelt down beside us.

"Harry take good care of her...thank..." She closed her eyes and wasn't able to finish her sentence. Her hand released her grip from me. This moment shattered me completely.

"Noo! Kaylee please come back!" Harry pulled me into a hug and Kris had tears coming down her cheeks.

"She's gone Harry she's gone." Harry carresed my hair.

"Shh. It's okay. She's still with you in your heart." That's where i felt something boil up inside me and rise up

"Where is that Bitch!" I got up and screamed. I searched the hollow room and found Samantha by the exit. I walked towards her and pushed her agaisnt the wall.

"You need to pay for what you've done to Kaylee." I started choking her and she tried to grasp for air and i squeezed her neck tighter.

"Nichole! Stop it! This isn't you!" I heard Kris scream. My hands released Samantha and i took a deep breath. What am i doing?

"You fucking bitch! You tried to kill me!" Samantha's fist found their way into my face and i stumbled over and she ran out an exit.

That's when the opposite door flew open and The guys came in with the cops. They stopped at the entrance when they saw us.

"Are you guys okay?" Asked Louis. We all shook our head and i signaled him to Kaylee's body.

"Oh God! Kaylee!" He ran towards her numb, lifeless body on the floor. I got up and walked towards Louis.Louis and put my hand on his shoulder.

"She wanted you to know that she loved you."
Louis looked back at me and his eyes were already crying. He looked so empty.

My body felt so much pain. It wasn't physical pain though, it was emotional pain.

The cops took Kaylee's body and helped us out of the building and into the police station. Everyone had to tell their side of the story.

"Where is Samantha?" Asked one of the cops. We all exchanged glances. I sighed.

"She disapeared after Kaylee was shot and noone noticed when she left." The cop shook his head and told us they were going to search for her and we needed to have some sort of cameras or security in the house and we nodded in agreement.

After 4 hours down at the station they finally let us go. It was 10 pm by now.

"Well i guess this is goodbye. We'll meet up tomorrow to hang out like old times." Zayn said. We were all so exhausted. I was sweating and really needed a good bath and sleep.

We all had to walk home because our cars were still at the wedding. We each took our seperate ways. Harry grabbed my hands and we walked in the sidewalk making our way home.

"I missed you so much and i'm so sorry for what i put you through Nichole i didn't mean to. I love you so much and i never want to forget you again. That was the worst time of my life."

"Harry none of this is your fault. We're together now right? We're gonna stay like this for a long time."

"Good." He gave me soft kisses on my temple.

We arrived at the house and closed the door behind us.

"Can we take a shower together?" Harry asked.

"Sure." He followed me into the bathroom.

"I'll be right back." Harry said. He left the bathroom and i took off my clothes and got in the shower. A few seconds later a naked Harry walked in the bathroom with me.

"Why did you leave?"

"I got towels. You always forget it." He chuckled. He started kissing my neck.

"I love you." He whispered in my ear.

"I love you too."

I was sitting next to Harry in bed and we were watching the news. Nothing interesting. Just weather reports and robberies.

Harry started talking to the baby and poking my stomach and she kept responding by kicking back. He seemed so happy. I've never seen him smile like that before.

He has changed and for the better. I got up from my spot to get some water when i froze in my spot when i stood up. No. This cannot happen now.

"Babe?" I didn't answer.

"Babe? Are you okay?" Harry sounded so worried.

"Harry my water broke." He blinked.

"Okay lets get you out of here." He got up quick and led me to the garage. We were about to get in one when we heard somethingg strange. It was another car.

Harry walked to the middle of the garage road and stopped. Another car turned the corner. It was the car he used to get to the wedding. It was headed right for him.

"Harry!!!"
