Chapter 7 - Friends Again

Ze's P.O.V.

I woke up and it ready for class early. I wanted to get there early so I could talk to Chilled before class started. I rushed to class and got there twenty minutes early. I waited hoping he would show up. With just two minutes until class started Chilled walked in. He sat tight in front of me and didn't make any eye contact. I decided that I needed to take the first step.

"Hey Chilled, about the other day-" he cut me off as I was about to explain it to him.

"Nah its fine, don't worry about it." He was just brushing itboff, which I guess is better than totally avoiding it.

"Uh, ok." After that short discussion the bell rang and class began.

"The whole day Chilled seemed to try to talk to me the least he could. When I would try to talk to him he would give me short answers and try to end the conversation. I decided to give up and maybe talk to him after school was over.

--------------A few hours later-----------------

I headed towards the fountain at our usual meeting spot to wait for the others. A few minutes later they all came over together and we decided what to do today. Minx had a date or something with Krism so she went off and did that. That left just me, Chilled, and Ritz. We decided to hang out at the local pizza joint and eat sonething. While we were waiting for the food Ritz "had" to go to the bathroom and gave me a signal that Chilled didn't notice. I knew I had to take advantage of this situation.

"So about the other day," I had to talk fast before he cut me off, "I know it was weird but can we forget about it and be friends again and start talking to each other?"

"Yeah sure, don't worry about it buddy." Thank goodness it worked. Ritz came back and I gave him an inconspicuous thumbs up and a smile. He nodded back and knew we made up. Our food arrived and we began to eat. After we finished eating, Chilled went home and Ritz and me went back to our dorm room. Once we got back in the room Ritz wanted to know what happened.

"So how'd it go with Chilled?"

"It went good, I think we'll go back to talking." He seemed glad that we made up and we were talking again. Later that night Chilled texted me and I knew that we'd be back to great friends really soon. I hated Chilled not talking to me because he was cool and awesome to hang out with. When we were about to go to bed I had one more question for Chilled.

Ze: so just wondering but when are you gonna tell me your real name?

Chilled: eventually, but for now you will never know haha.

Z: yeah, yeah, whatever, goodnight

C: goodnight buddy

We went to sleep and I made a plan to find our Chilled name without him telling me.
