Chapter 25 - Rivals and Friends

Ze's P.O.V.

I woke up to another day. It was the 23rd and tomorrow evening was when I was going to Chilled's house. I still had a day and a half left until then and I had plenty to do. I was going to spend most of the day hanging out with Mark, since he was leaving today to got to his home in Ohio for the holidays. We met up in his dorm for a few minutes before his flight. We decided to get each other small gifts since it was going to be several weeks before we saw each other again. I knocked on his door and it was opened shortly after.

"Hey, how's it going?" I walked in and he closed the door behind me.

"It's going good." We walked over towards the living room and sat down in some chairs. Since we didn't have a whole lot of time, we started with the gift exchange. I gave him his gift first. It was a plush of Tiny Box Tim, a character from one of his favorite horror games, Amnesia.

"Thanks a lot!" He really seemed to like it. He put it away as he went to get my gift and I thought I heard him say: "my little biscuit" in reference to Tiny Box Tim. He came back with the gift for me. It was a small trophy. It had a plague with something inscribed on it. I brought it closer to my eyes so I could read it better. It read:

We had played several times against each other in video games and Mark would say that I was the best he ever played, but now I had physical proof.

"Thanks Mark." After the gift exchange, we decided to just talk. We continued talking until it was almost time for him to leave. I headed to his door and we said our goodbyes. I walked home with the trophy in hand. I opened the door to my dorm and decided that I should start packing since I was going to be at Chilled's until New Year's Day. I started packing and daydreaming about being able to spend so much time with Chilled...alone. I was brought out of my dreaming by a text message from Chilled.

Chilled: Can't wait for tomorrow ;)

I smiled when I read the text; he felt the same way that I did.

Ze: Can't wait either :D

A/n:

I've made a lot of progress on the story and I just need to post it so I'll be adding a lot of chapters to the story hopefully soon. My goal is to have the story completed by the end of the month so it'll be soon. Hope you enjoyed this update, peace out!
