Chapter 26 - To Chilled's House

Ze's P.O.V.

The first noise I heard in the morning was a knocking. There was a voice with it, but I couldn't identify it. It sounded like it was coming from my bedroom door and not the front door, which made it even weirder. After clearing my head a bit, I realized that it was Ritz outside my door. I looked over at the clock and realized that I once again slept in too late. I quickly got dressed and left my room. I found out that Ritz wasn't the only one waiting on me; Minx and Krism were there too.

"Finally." I could tell that Minx had her signature bad attitude with her today.

"Sorry, I-uh.." I realized that I didn't actually have an excuse for sleeping in. "Whatever, let's just go." We left the dorm and headed out to eat. This was our group's "farewell" meal until the next semester started in a few weeks. We invited Chilled, but he was busy doing something with his family. Even though it was now lunchtime, we went and ate pancakes anyways. For the next hour or so, we talked about all kinds of stuff while eating our meal. We all decided that it was time to leave since we all had other plans. I headed home to get my suitcase so that I could get over to Chilled's house as early as possible. I got my suitcase and headed for the door. I said goodbye to Ritz before I left. I went to the closest bus stop so I could get a ride to Chilled's house. I got on a bus and went to the closest bus stop that was near where Chilled lived. When I got there I saw that he was waiting for me there.

"Hey there." He said this in an attempt of a seductive voice and winked.

"Nothing much." He seemed to frown since I wasn't playing along, but soon put his "seductive" look back on.

"How about we go back to my place." He bit his lip as part of his act and I had to hold back my laughter.

"Yeah that's where I was planning on going." I had to cover my mouth with my hand so he wouldn't see me smiling from his reaction.

"You know what, let's just go." He seemed a little agitated. I couldn't hold it in anymore and bursted out laughing. He noticed my laughter and pouted and started mumbling something to himself. After walking for about a mile we finally got to his house. He opened the door and bowed as I entered. I put my luggage in his room since we were sharing a bed and headed downstairs afterwords. We ate dinner with his parents. It wasn't too awkward since this wasn't the first meal I had shared with them. After everyone was done eating I went upstairs since I was tired. I changed into my pajamas and got into Chilled's bed. A few minutes later Chilled came in. He took off his shirt and it made me blush. I hadn't seen him without a shirt on before and he was surprisingly muscular.

"Enjoy the view?" He must've caught me staring.

"Oh um..." I was brought back to reality and my cheeks were an even darker red. He climbed into bed next to me and wrapped his arms around me. Laying next to him was warm and calming. It was comfortable and I quickly drifted off into a deep sleep.
