Chapter 18 - A Tents Situation

Ze's P.O.V.

I felt a slight nudging and began to open my eyes. I looked up to see Chilled looking down at me.

"Oh hey." My voice was very low and still groggy. We had arrived and Minx was driving around looking for a parking spot. Since I was so tired I decided to keep my head on Chilled's shoulder as it was comfortable. He seemed to notice that I liked it and he shoved his shoulder so my whole body moved over to Ritz's side. My head landed on his lap and I was startled by the sudden movement. I quickly sat back up normally to get out of the uncomfortable situation.

"Alright, I'm up!" Chilled just laughed at this and I mocked him. Minx finally found a parking spot and we all got out of the car. We got the two tents out and started to set them up. Chilled wanted it to be a competition and started to set the tent up as fast as he could. Me and Ritz would tell him something was wrong but he'd say that he knew how to do it and that it was the best way. An hour later our tent wasn't up and the girls' had been up for a long time.

"Will you just admit that you don't know how to do it already?" After an hour of Chilled failing, I was beginning to get impatient.

"This is my tent and I've done it before and I can do it again." I sighed in defeat of ever getting through to him.

"Clearly you can't." Ritz was overlooking the mess from a nearby bemch. "Maybe you should just let Minx and Krism set it up, they're certainly more capable." I could tell there was a tension between them but it was probably from Chilled's inability to set tents up.

"You know what? Fine, do it your way." He dropped all of the tent stuff and walked off into the woods. I couldn't tell if he was being dramatic or if he was actually mad, so I decided to follow him.

I finally caught up to him and found him pathetically kicking a tree.

"Hey, are you alright?" He turned around and noticed my presence.

"I'm just really pissed at that tent, and then you take Ritz's side on how terrible I am at setting up tents." Was this...jealousy?

"Look, I'm sorry but it was taking forever and I was getting impatient. Calm down will ya?" He looked at me and his face started to soften.

"Ok I will." He gave me a quick peck on the lips and started walking back towards camp. I followed behind him hoping that no one would notice our absence for too long.

Ritz's P.O.V.

"You know what? Fine, do it your way." Chilled dropped everything that he was holding and walked off into the woods. Ze just stared at him and then quickly followed him into the woods. I'm not sure why, but for some reason seeing the two of them like that, just angered me. To get my mind off of it I called Minx and Krism over to get them to help set up the tent. In a matter of minutes we got the tent up thay Chilled had struggled with for over an hour. I looked up to see Chilled walking back to camp followed by Ze a few steps behind. The look on Chilled's face looked so peaceful and I could feel anger swell up inside of me. I had to play it cool and ignore the fact that they were just in the woods alone.

"Finally got the tent up." Minx said this with such a teasing voice at Chilled that I couldn't help but silently laugh. Since both of the tents were up we got some twigs together and started the fire that would roar for the rest of the night.

Yay more updates! I hope you enjoyed the pun in the title, I came up with it at 1 in the morning and died of laughter. Also, I made a title for the whole book overall, hope you like it. This chapter (not including author's note) was 667 words, that was a close one. Anyways, hope you enjoyed this chapter.
