Centuries ago a young girl was born, she was a Shadowhunter. As a little girl she was always admired for her kindness, bravery, and beauty. Although as a Shadowhunter she was an extremely talented girl surpassing most of her class.
As she got older her power was beginning to become uncontrollable and as a solution the Clave instructed her to draw runes on her body. It worked, although as she got older she had to keep drawing more runes and her whole body was basically covered.
Once she was married off to her husband she had her first kiss, and that kiss was the one that changed her world forever.
She could see everything, his memories that were long forgotten to the ones that recently happened. At first she was okay with this new foumd power, but her protection runes were finally catching up to her.
Her sanity started to decrease with each day that passed. First she was just killing animals, she was okay with it because it didn't really harm anyone.
But when she found out she was pregnant instead of cravings for food she had an immense bloodlust. One that couldn't be quenched by the simple blood of animals, but she wouldn't give in. Everyday it just became worse to the point to where she began to see red and finally she gave into her thirst and killed.
She began to kill bloodthirsty vampires, demons, werewolves, anything she could find that presented a threat to her village, but... those plans didn't last for long. Her tiny village began to think that witches existed and that they were here to kill everyone here.
The hunts started, at first they began to kill downworlders that where actually posing a thirst to the Clave but one day a shadowhunter became to carless and the hunters caught the shadowhunter and publicly executed them.
Suddenly the girls whole world was crashing down, how could she be able to bring a child into this world when there were corpses everywhere and her lust was becoming so uncontrollable.
The woman spoke with her husband and they both came to an agreement to leave when they could save up enough money to move in another town.
Everything was back on track she was able to quench some of her bloodlust, the hunters had more difficulty finding the 'witches', and the shadowhunters baby was due any moment now. Although what she didn't know was that her body was soon going to crack, the bloodlust she kept inside was soon about to burst.
And it did. Her mind was completely blank when she killed her husband, and when she finally became conscious she screamed in agony over her deceased husband. The blood of her lover on her weapon and all over her hands attempting to close the wound.
Her hands kept coming in contact with his skin and she saw how she murdered her lover, the look of horror on his face as she stabbed him.
Horrified by her power she laughed at the irony, she knew this power was going to come back and haunt her. The woman looked at her stomach and placed one hand on it and she saw the things the baby was dreaming, the baby even noticed something was wrong with the mother.
This baby was the only thing she had of her lover and she wouldn't harm it.
She released all her bloodlust she had and went on a killing spree, by the time she was done the towns people where calling her a witch and the clave wanted her dead or alive. She disappeared once her child was born never looking back on the memories that she held dear in the small town called Salem.
Sadly what the Clave didn't realize was that she was from the Fairchild Bloodline.
And that this Fairchild curse was going to return again and it wasn't going to be an easy task to kill her.
