Clary and I began running as fast as we could in order to make it to Dot.
"Val, Clary! Girls stop! Where are you going?" Jace called out and Clary began to slow down so I stopped with her.
"Two men, Circle members, the same ones who came to our house, who took our mom. They have Dot." I pant.
"They're going to hurt her or kill her, we have to stop them!" Clary shouts as she begins running into Pandemonium with the rest of us following behind.
As we walk into the club I look around for any clue of Dot and Simon came running next to me.
"No." Clary said and I look in her direction, "She was just trying to help us." Clary breaths out and I walk to her side and grab her hand.
"Hey touch your necklace again maybe it will give us a clue." I suggest and she nods clutching her necklace.
We wait for a few moments then her shoulders drop and she shakes her head, "Nothing." She says and my shoulders drop as well.
"Lena, Clary, I'm sorry." Simon grabs both of our shoulders and I give him a small smile.
"Thanks Simon but you don't get it. She was like the eldest sibling in our family." I sigh and he nods understanding the reason.
"It's not safe here." Alec interrupts and as much as I hate to admit it, he's right. "We have to go back to the institute right now." He orders and I shake my head.
"So what now, Valentine as my mom and now Dot and we're just going to give up?" Clary questions and I look at her in disbelief. Well, she's my mother too ya know.
"What about our memories? They can't just be gone." I cross my arms over my chest and Jace shrugs.
"There is always another way." He suggest and both Lightwood siblings look at him like he's crazy.
"Absolutely not."
"Don't even think about it." They both say at the same time and Jace rolls his eyes.
"I'm not afraid of the Silent brothers." He says and my eyebrow raises, who the fuck are the Silent Brothers.
"Who are the Silent Brothers?" Clary and I say at the same time.
"They're Shadowhunters with superior powers." Jace explains.
"Who posses the ability to recover memories." Izzy adds into the explanation.
"A process that can also kill you, so there's that." Alec shrugged and I raised an eyebrow, what crawled in his butt and died.
"Your bedside manor is abysmal." Simon says and I high five him.
