"Check out that guy. He's got something." Jace pointed over to the man in a blue jacket and I rolled my eyes.
"What? Fleas?" Jace brushed me off.
"Now, now. Bet you can't handle his charm." Let looked over to Clary who gave him a bemused expression.
"Charm? Are you kidding me?" She scoffed and Jace looked over at us.
"You girls really wanna help find Simon. Go, on. Go complement him on his motorcycle. They like that." He told Clary in which she stared at him with disbelief.
"Clary, if you're uncomfortable I'll go." I offered and she shook her head.
"I've got this." She smirked and walked over to the blue jacket guy and started talking to him.
"Exactly what does this accomplish?" I grin at Jace and he smiles before replying.
"We need his motorcycle. Vampires have unique powers on their motorcycle as much as it sounds weird."
"I'm still wondering how you and the rest of your scooby-doo gang transport to places without a car." I rest my chin in my palm while talking and he stares at me with a weird expression.
"Who's the scooby doo gang?" I facepalmed before laughing.
"Right you don't know much of the 'mundane' world, do you... Well, they're basically a team who solve mysteries in a truck." I explained and he seems fascinated. Jace then points to Clary in which I see the guy in the blue jacket move his hand and all of a sudden Clary looks at him like he's the hottest guy in the world.
"So that's the charm." I nodded, impressed.
Jace nodded as well, "Yup, every vampire has it."
As we listened to Clary's conversation with the vampire I began to become anxious and was wondering if he would bite her.
I began to twiddle with my fingers and looked at Jace. "He's not going to bite her, right?"
Jace looked over at me with a small smirk before shrugging, "Who knows? Vampires can't resist Shadowhunter blood."
Gasping out of disbelief I hit him in the shoulder and he then began laughing.
"Relax Val!" He put his arm around me and gave me a quick squeeze. "I'm not going to let anything happen to her or you."
He looked me in the eyes when saying this, so I knew I could trust him. We both then turned back to Clary only to see her cuddling up with the Vampire.
I shook my head, "He's not even cute. It's a shame some vampires have to use their charm."
Jace smirked, "Well not everyone is born with dashing good looks such as myself." His smirk then turned into a grin while I scoffed.
"Please, get over yourself. Being handsome isn't everything." I rolled my eyes only to realize what just came out of my mouth. Turning my gaze to Jace I saw him grinning at me.
"So.... You think I'm handsome." I glared at him only making his grin wider.
"You know... that's beside the point and you didn't listen to a work I just said, did you?" Waving me off, he shook his head and chuckled.
"All I heard was blah, blah, blah, I'm handsome."
"You are unbelievable." Groaning I turned away from him only to see Clary and the vampire inching closer together.
"Go time, follow me." Jace then got up and began walking to them with me following closely behind.
"Hey. You having fun with my girl's sister?" My heart skipped a beat after I hearing that while the vampire then turned his head around slowly, glaring at Jace.
