✖️Somebody asked me where I find my weekly inspiration stuff.. I make up all of the weekly inspiration sayings on my own. As far as I know they are my words that I made up in my head. I didn't search the Internet for anything. It's just inspiration from my head to you. :)💕 ✖️

"I've tried to cut these corners
Try to take the easy way out
I kept on falling short of something
...
And I know it's hard when you're falling down
And it's a long way up when you hit the ground
Get up now, get up, get up now."

The next morning someone tapped my face trying to wake me up. I grabbed their hand and opened my eyes seeing it was Thomas. I saw Alby standing next to him. He quietly motioned for me to get up. I let go of Thomas' hand as I climbed out of my hammock. Alby led us through the grass as the sun was rising, it was light and peaceful. The birds and other insects and such were making little noises from in the grass.

"Peaceful isn't it?" Alby asked us. We walked for a bit and Thomas nudged me pointing to the knife in Alby's hand. I shook my head telling him to ignore it. We walked a bit more before stopping and looking over the glade. "I know it's hard to believe but it wasn't always this way. We've had dark days, lost a lot of boys to fear, to panic. We've come far since then, established order, made peace."

"Why are you telling us this?" Thomas asked,

"You two aren't like the others. It was obvious the first two nights here. You're curious in your own ways. But you two are apart of us now.  You need to know what that means," Alby told us as he placed the knife in Thomas' hand. He pointed to a wall that had many names on it. Some were crossed off.

"What happened to them?" Thomas asked.

"Like I said, dark days cost." Thomas stepped forward, engraving his name before handing the knife to me.

"How many dark days have there been?"

"Too many too count, too many to remember...All of which shouldn't be forgotten. As they were part of our brotherhood here, taken by the monstrous creatures in that place. Their departure from us is a reminder to the rest...Never go into the maze."

Thomas, Newt, Zart and I were working on one of the garden vineyard walls. I was still wondering what that vision or dream was about. Had I really known Newt before this? Were we in some relationship? I mean we said I love you...It had me confused.

"Have you ever tried climbing the walls?" Thomas asked.

"Nobody's made it to the top. And besides where you gonna go from there?" Newt replied.

"Well, what about the box you know next time it comes up you know-"

"We've tried that, the box won't go back down if there's someone in it."

"Well, what if we-"

"No. We've tried it alright, twice, alright trust me anything you think of we've already tried it. The only way out is through the Maze. Now, look you want to be helpful?" Newt bent down and picked up a twine basket, tossing it to Thomas. "Go dig us up some more fertilizer." Thomas sighed before walking away,

"Newt you didn't have to be hard on him...He's just curious you know...He always has been. I think he's just trying to think faster than all of you."

"He's gonna drive the rest of the Gladers nuts before month end here, but that's just how everyone is toward the new Greenies. Some more hostile than others, don't know why we pick on the Greenies maybe because they are an easy target because they literally know nothing." He laughed and I sighed. He watched me work.
