"Rizuki, come up here at once young lady!" Rizuki Carribea's father, Koichi, commanded from upstairs. Rizuki rolled her eyes as she gave a glance to her friends, her maids. They were the only friends she had. Koichi never allowed her to step outside of the palace unless if it was absolutely necessary. She and the maids of the palace were busy in the basement playing darts. For some odd reason she liked the idea of darts. When she was 7 years old she had come downstairs to tell the maids some news and she caught them playing darts. She was now 12 years old and she continued to play darts whenever she had some free time. However, she was the Princess of Suzuhara country and the throned queen. Her parents, the king and queen, didn't exactly approve the idea of her playing darts.
"Your father is calling you, princess Rizuki," her personal maid, Ayano, stated.
"Ayano, how many times have I told you not to call me princess Rizuki?" Rizuki asked Ayano with an exasperated groan.
"Many times princess," Ayano responded with a sigh, "However, this is one request that I can not make. You may be kind princess, but your father who is the king will not be as kind to me if I do not call you that. He would see it as disrespectful."
"But, Ayano~," Rizuki complained.
"Rizuki!" Koichi yelled in an impatient tone. Rizuki groaned in annoyance.
"Princess, your father," Ayano repeated nervously. Rizuki sighed in defeat as she throwed one last dart at the dart board, hitting right in the middle of it. She smiled triumphantly as she walked up the stairs. When she reached the top of the stairs, she saw her father looking down at her with a stern expression on his face and his arms crossed over his chest.
"Yes father?" Rizuki asked as she bowed her head.
"Rizuki, what were you doing down there?" Koichi asked.
"Nothing...," Rizuki said trailing off. Koichi gave her a look.
"Don't tell me you were playing that ridiculous game where you throws things at a piece of wood?" Koichi asked displeased.
"Father, it's a game where we throw darts at a dart board," Rizuki corrected. Koichi glared down at her.
"Rizuki, you know how I feel about that game," Koichi started, "You are the Princess and the throned queen of Suzuhara. Throwing darts at a dart board is not the way a princess should act."
"Father, what does it matter?" Rizuki asked.
"What does it matter?" Koichi asked in disbelief, "Rizuki, a princess should not spend her time playing darts. She should spend her time studying and practicing table manners. You embarrassed me last time when you..."
"You mean when I burped?" Rizuki asked with a slight smirk. The last meal where she had to get dressed up was when the king, queen, and prince of Meadowlands came to visit and during the meal she burped very loudly. The king and queen of Meadowlands were quite appalled of her behaviour, but surprisingly the prince found it rather funny and had a laughing fit. "Yeah, I know, that was funny. Even the prince thought so."
"Rizuki!" Koichi exclaimed. Rizuki clammed up and stared at the floor. "You are a princess, start behaving like you!" Koichi turned around and began to walk away.
"No father," Rizuki replied. At this Koichi turned back around and faced his daughter with a look of furry.
"How dare you disobey my orders!" Koichi shouted as he raised his hand and slapped Rizuki across the cheek. Rizuki's head moved to the side at the impact and she bit her lip to stop herself from crying. "You will do as I say is that clear?!"
