It's been a week now since Rizuki had saved the Sirius crew from being executed by her own father. She hadn't been the same Rizuki that she had been before. Most of the time, now, she was very gloomy and barely ever came out of her room. The crew could hear her soft sniffling at night when they would stand outside of her door. They missed her terribly and wished that they could do something to make her feel better, but her door remained closed and locked, so they were unable to come in. Nathan had decided to let go of his feelings for Rizuki, thinking that he didn't deserve her love and tried to find ways to make Russell seem like the better guy for Rizuki. For the rest of the crew found Nathan's behaviour to be strange, but Nathan pretend not to know what they were talking about every time they asked him if he was ok. Russell even had some suspicions too. Despite Russell always wanting Rizuki's attention, he still found it strange that Nathan didn't seem interested in gaining Rizuki's love.

"Hey Nathan," Russell greeted Nathan as he came into the kitchen. Nathan was busy making something for Rizuki. She hadn't been eating the whole week. "What are ya doin'?"

"Makin' Rizuki some food," Nathan responded simply, "She hasn't eaten all week. She's probably starvin'."

"Speakin' of Rizuki," Russell started, "What's goin' on with the two of ya?" Nathan stopped what he was doing and turned around.

"Nothin' is happening between the two of us," Nathan replied with a shrug. Russell eyed Nathan suspiciously.

"That's bull**** Nathan," Russell remarked in annoyance. Russell knew that Nathan had feelings for Rizuki and yet here he was saying that there was nothing going on between them. It annoyed him that Nathan wasn't being honest with his feelings.

"Believe what ya want Russell, but I'm tellin' ya there's nothin' goin' on between us," Nathan repeated as he turned around and went back to cooking.

"Why can't ya just admit that ya love her Nathan?!" Russell asked in frustration. Nathan stopped again and sighed.

"Because I don't!" Nathan yelled. He was lying though. He did love Rizuki. In fact, over the past week he had finally figured out that he loved the Rizuki from 6 years ago and the Rizuki now. He didn't care how she turned out. She was his first and she would be his only love, but she deserved better and he knew that it wasn't him. Little did he know that he was far from not being the one who would make her happy.

"Do ya really think I believe that?!" Russell asked as he approached Nathan. He walked until he was face to face with Nathan. Nathan was a little bit taller than Russell, so Russell had to look up a little bit.

"Russell, drop it already," Nathan snapped as he glared at Russell. Russell glared back at him. "Look, go do somethin' useful for once and take this to Rizuki."

"Yer the one who made it, so why don't ya take it to her?" Russell asked curiously. Nathan stared at Russell. Suddenly, an idea popped into his head and he smirked.

"Fine, I will," Nathan responded, "Then, I'll have her huggin' me and tellin' me how nice I am while ya silently watch wishin' that it was ya in there with her." Upon hearing this, Russell's eyes widened as he snatched the plate away from Nathan's hands.

"Ya keep cookin'," Russell replied in hurry, "Imma go brin' this to Rizuki." Nathan nodded as he gave a teasing chuckle. Russell rolled his eyes as he walked out of the kitchen and headed for Rizuki's room. Once he was in front of her door he knocked on it and waited for her to answer or at least open the door. To his surprise, the door opened and Rizuki stood holding the door open. Her eyes were all watery, red, and puffy. Tears had dried on her cheeks.

"Russell?" Rizuki asked in surprise as she wiped away her tears as quickly as possible.

"Rizuki, are ya ok?" Russell asked in worry as he walked into her room and set the plate of food down on the table. Rizuki simply nodded, but a couple of new tears slid down her face. She placed her tear stained face into her hands and began to cry again. Without thinking, Russell pulled her into a hug and held onto her in a warm and comforting embrace. Rizuki was at first surprised by the gesture, but then got used to it and cried into Russell's shoulder. Russell gently petted her hair. "Just let it out Rizuki."
