After Rizuki had once again come to their rescue her father, Koichi, had surprisingly let them leave without a fight and they boarded their ship safely before sailing off. In the moment of now celebrating to Rizuki's return, the crew, other than Nathan and Russell, were asking Rizuki who she liked more. Russell or Nathan? She was in a bit of a pickle because she wasn't quite sure who she liked more. She hadn't really thought about it.
"Well, I... um...," Rizuki started again while biting her lip, "I guess I love..."
"For the love of Neptune just say it already!" Eduardo exclaimed. Rizuki scoffed.
"Calm down Mr. Impatient Pants," Rizuki responded with a scowl. The others snickered at Rizuki's insult.
"Well, yer takin' forever," Eduardo explained with a sigh.
"Yeah, Rizuki, stop creatin' suspense," Captain instructed as he raised his eyebrow. Rizuki raised her eyebrow.
"I thought it was stop stallin'?" Rizuki asked in confusion. They all groaned in annoyance.
"Fine, stop stallin' and tell us already," Christopher remarked in irritation. Rizuki scowled as she sighed.
"But I don't wanna," Rizuki complained in a whiny voice.
"Rizuki, tell us now!" Eduardo yelled in frustration.
"Ok ok, ya don't hafta bite my head off," Rizuki answered. Eduardo tapped his foot against the ground impatiently. Rizuki sighed heavily.
"I hate ya all," Rizuki responded in defeat. They smirked as they waited for Rizuki's response. "I love..." Just as Rizuki was about to say her answer Nathan and Russell came back up carrying booze and food.
"Why are ya gettin' upset? I told ya that ya could get the booze while I get the food," Nathan said in annoyance.
"Well, maybe I might have wanted to get both the booze and the food," Russell responded stubbornly.
"Yer impossible," Nathan replied as he rolled his eyes and sighed heavily. Rizuki sighed in relief and took this opportunity to avoid the subject on saying who she loved.
"Nathan, that looks so good," Rizuki commented as she rushed towards Russell and Nathan. The others groaned in annoyance.
"Rizuki!" The others exclaimed in frustration. Rizuki smirked as she sat at the table. Nathan placed the food on the table and Russell poured the booze in glasses. In defeat, the others slowly made their way over to the table as well. When they sat down they eyed Rizuki as if saying that they were not going to let the subject go, but Rizuki did her best to ignore their stares. Both Nathan and Russell took a seat beside Rizuki.
"Rizuki, do ya want some booze?" Russell asked.
"I'm good for now, but thanks fer offerin' Russell," Rizuki thanked him with a kind smile.
"Rizuki, how are ya alive right now?" Nathan asked curiously. Rizuki turned away from Russell and looked at Nathan. Russell frowned at this.
"I actually have no idea," Rizuki responded with a shrug, "I don't know. I just woke up and I was perfectly fine."
"Well, we're really relieved that yer alive and well," Russell commented as he glared at Nathan. Rizuki turned away from Nathan and smiled at Russell.
"Thanks Russell," Rizuki thanked him, "I'm glad that ya care 'bout me that much."
"Of course we do," Nathan replied as he patted Rizuki's head, "We would be lost without ya." Rizuki turned to face Nathan and giggled.
"Clearly ya need me around otherwise ya will go gettin' yerselves executed and then I'm gonna have to go save yer sorry butts like always," Rizuki answered with a teasing grin as she nudged Nathan. Nathan smiled as he nudged her back. Russell frowned and narrowed his eyes at Nathan.
