Ever since Russell had admitted his feelings about liking Rizuki to himself he seemed to be a lot more cheerful. The others were worried at first, but as he continued this attitude throughout the week they got used to it and actually felt ok with it.
"Ahhhh, no, Russell!! Stop it!" Rizuki exclaimed as she held up her hands to shield herself from the soapy water that they had been using for cleaning the deck. Rizuki and Thomas had been cleaning the deck until it was shiny clean. Then all of sudden Russell came over to them with a bucket of soapy water and smiled evilly at them before pouring the bucket over top of them. Ever since then Russell, Rizuki, and Thomas had been tossing and throwing buckets of soapy water at each other, making the clean deck slippery and soapy. The others were simply on the deck watching those three in amusement.
"Heh, only if ya say the magic word," Russell teased as he chuckled and started getting another bucket of soapy water ready to throw at Rizuki.
"What?! Why do I have to say the magic word?" Rizuki asked in shock. Russell chuckled.
"Because that's what ya say when ya want somethin'," Russell explained with a smirk.
"Yeah, but that's not fair!" Rizuki complained as she pouted and crossed her arms.
"What ain't fair?" Russell asked in confusion.
"That you don't have to say the magic word," Rizuki responded. Russell snickered.
"That's cause Imma pirate. I ain't got no need to use no manners," Russell explained.
"Well, I'm a pirate too, so I shouldn't have to say the magic word either," Rizuki argued stubbornly.
"Rizuki, ya may be on board with us, but ya ain't no pirate," Captain commented with a chuckle. Rizuki gapped at him in shock.
"Captain!" Rizuki exclaimed, "I am a pirate! I'm part of the crew, so that makes me a pirate."
"Ya start talkin' like us then we'll consider if yer a pirate or not," Russell remarked with a grin on his face. Rizuki grumbled angrily and stuck her tongue out at them.
"Meanies!" Rizuki protested as she pouted. The others chuckled. "Stop laughing, this isn't funny!" This only made them laugh even more. Rizuki sighed. Just then something collided with the ship sending them all flying across the slippery, soapy deck and crashing into the sides of the ship.
"Ow!" Russell exclaimed in pain as he rubbed behind.
"My head. I swear, if I hit my head one more time Imma be stupid," Nathan commented as he rubbed his head.
"What the heck was that?" Rizuki asked curiously as she sat up. Captain looked over the side of the ship. His eyes widen in shock and terror.
"Captain, what do ya see?" Eduardo asked. Before Captain could respond, a ginormous, monster squid comes out of the water and starts thrashing its arms and legs onto the ship.
"Monster squid!" Thomas yelled in horror. The squid was indeed huge and earned the rightful name of monster squid. It's eyes were black as coal and it's body was the three times the size of the ship. Everybody got out their weapons in a hurry before each of them launching themselves at the monster squid that was attacking the ship. Rizuki was the only one who hadn't launched herself at the giant squid yet. She was busy looking around for something that she could kill it with. Her daggers were too small to kill it.
"Rizuki! Instead of just standin' there like an idiot, ya mind helpin' us out?" Eduardo asked in annoyance. Rizuki bit her lip, but simply nodded as she threw herself at the giant squid. Each of them throwing blows after blows at the monster squid, but none of them were succeeding at puncturing it.
