"Hey, Rizuki, wake up," someone said. Rizuki opened her eyes to find Russell standing beside her bed with his arms crossed. Rizuki sat up.
"Morning, Russell," Rizuki greeted Russell.
"Mornin'," Russell greeted back with a slight smile on his face. He seemed a bit more cheerful this morning than he did last night.
"You seem in a better mood than you were last night," Rizuki commented as she got out of bed.
"That was...," Russell started. Rizuki looked at him in question. "... because I was tired..." Rizuki nodded in understanding.
"Well, I guess then you must have gotten a good night's rest," Rizuki added.
"Uh, yeah, I guess I did," Russell responded uncertain. Actually, Russell hadn't gotten a good night's rest. He had been up all night out on the deck trying to understand what is truly felt towards Rizuki. However, even after a full night of thinking he still wasn't sure how he felt. He wanted to be friends with Rizuki, but every time he tried it would either be that someone was already talking to Rizuki or when he did have the chance to talk to Rizuki he always ended up saying the opposite of what he wanted to say.
"Russell, what are you doing just standing there?" Rizuki asked breaking Russell out of his thoughts.
"Uh, nothin'," Russell responded as they walked upstairs to the deck.
"Ah, there they are," Captain exclaimed, "We're just 'bout ready to set sail."
"Good morning Captain," Rizuki greeted Captain with a cheerful smile.
"Good mornin' to you Rizuki," Captain greeted back, "Ya sleep well I presume?"
"Yeah, I did," Rizuki responded, "So, what should I do?" Captain looked around and spotted Thomas.
"Go ask Thomas what ya should do," Captain instructed. Rizuki nodded as she walked over to Thomas. "Russell, ya been holdin' up ok?"
"Yeah," Russell replied.
"Ya look like ya been up all night," Captain commented as he noticed the dark bags under Russell's eyes.
"Mind yer own business Captain," Russell snapped as he walked off. Captain rolled his eyes and sighed.
"Oh, Russell," Captain said with a sigh, "Yer such a stubborn child."
"Hey, Thomas, how do you do this?" Rizuki asked as she struggled. Thomas stifled a laugh. "Thomas, stop laughing at me and come over here. I actually need your help here."
"Heh, alright, I'm comin'," Thomas said as he walked over to Rizuki. Thomas helped Rizuki and showed her how it was done.
"Oh, right, I knew that," Rizuki said with joking smile. Thomas chuckled as he continued to help Rizuki. "Uh, Thomas."
"Yeah?" Thomas asked in question.
"The rope is, uh, untying," Rizuki commented as she pointed to the rope that Thomas had just tied down to secure it in place while he was helping Rizuki.
"Oh no," Thomas exclaimed as he grabbed the rope and tied it up quickly. Rizuki giggled at how panicked Thomas looked. "There we go." Thomas looked over at Rizuki. "Hey, stop laughin'."
"Sorry," Rizuki apologized with a teasing smile, "You were just so panicked." Thomas began to chase after Rizuki. Rizuki noticed and began to run away. Around the deck they ran, bumping into Christopher, Captain, and Eduardo.
"What's all the racket up here?" Russell asked as he came from the stairs onto the deck. Once he was on the deck, he got trampled by Rizuki and Thomas. "Ahhhhhh!"
