Ang hanging galing sa Taal ay humahagupit sa bintana ng master suite, tila nakikidalamhati sa kasal na naganap. Bianca stood by the edge of the king-sized bed, her back turned to the door. She could hear the heavy, rhythmic footsteps of Alexander approaching.

Click.

The door locked.

"Humarap ka sa akin, Bianca," Alex commanded. His voice was like a low thunder, vibrating through the floorboards.

Dahan-dahang humarap si Bianca. She had shed the heavy wedding gown and was now wearing a sheer, floor-length lace robe—isang regalong galing mismo kay Alex. Underneath, she wore nothing but the teardrop diamond necklace he gave her.

She saw Alex's throat bob as he swallowed. His eyes, usually cold and calculating, were now burning with a raw, primal hunger. He started unbuttoning his tuxedo vest, his gaze never leaving hers.

"You look... dangerously beautiful tonight," he murmured, tossing his vest to the floor.

"Isang magandang dekorasyon sa iyong koleksyon, 'di ba?" Bianca replied, her voice sweet but laced with poison. She sat on the edge of the bed, crossing her legs, allowing the robe to part and reveal the smooth skin of her thighs.

She knew where she had hidden the tiny recording device—sa loob ng hollowed-out base ng lamp sa tabi ng kama. She needed him to talk. She needed him to boast about how he destroyed the Moons.

Alex walked toward her, his movements slow and predatory. He knelt between her legs, his large hands gripping her waist. The heat from his palms was almost enough to make her forget her plan.

"Galit ka pa rin," Alex noted, his face inches from hers. "But your body... your body is welcoming me, Bianca."

"Bakit hindi ako magagalit?" she whispered, her hands sliding up his chest, feeling the frantic thumping of his heart. "You won, Alex. You have the company, you have the name, and now you have me. Tell me... how does it feel to be the king of a ruined empire?"

Alex let out a dark chuckle, his lips brushing against her collarbone. "It feels like justice. Every night I spent working double shifts while you were attending balls... every time your father looked at me like I was dirt... this is the payoff."

"So, Project Eclipse was your masterpiece?" she prodded, her fingers tangling in his hair, pulling him closer to the lamp—closer to the microphone. "Did you enjoy watching my father beg for those loans? Knowing you were the one blocking them?"

Alex paused, his eyes darkening. He looked up at her, a smirk playing on his lips. "I didn't just block them, Bianca. I bought the banks. I wanted him to lose everything so that when you looked for a savior, I would be the only one left standing in the light."

Bianca felt a chill that had nothing to do with the aircon. "You really are a monster."

"And you're the monster's wife," he growled.

He surged forward, his mouth crashing onto hers. This was different from their previous nights. It was more intense, more desperate. Alex was kissing her as if he was trying to consume her soul, to erase the hatred he knew she felt.

Bianca responded with a fervor that surprised even herself. She used her lips, her teeth, her nails—driving him to the edge. She needed him vulnerable. She needed him to lose his guard.

"Alex... tell me more," she gasped against his mouth as he pushed her back onto the pillows. "Tell me how you did it... how you became so powerful."

But Alex wasn't a fool. Even in the height of passion, his survival instincts were sharp. He stopped, his body hovering over hers, his eyes narrowing as he looked at her face—too close to the lamp.
