One Week Later...

ELIZABETH

"Jacob, try to remember that you were the one against this last time." I state crossing my arms.

"I know, but it worked last time." He retorts.

"It also brought back a bloody uprise of hell on all levels." I deadpan.

"It doesn't matter, besides it could actually help you." He continues.

"One minute you're saying it's too dangerous, now you're all for it. What the hell Jacob? Really?" I throw my arms out in front of me. He closes his eyes from a moment then looks me dead in the eye.

"Yes, really. I thought we went over this?" Jake lays it out simply.

"Fine. Okay, because you know what's best and can predict the bloody future." I scoff.

"What's your problem?" He slightly laughs grabbing both of my hands.

"Nothing Jacob!" I snap. He furrows his eyebrow before grabbing my face in his hands.

"What's wrong?" He asks. I close my eyes and open them. They flame before they glow orange, maintaining the flames. Like they did before I got pregnant. His face falters and he drops my hands. "El, why didn't you tell me?"

"Don't feel left out, I didn't tell anyone. The kids don't even know." I switch my eyes back and they cool.

"Is that why you're so against this?"

"No, I just don't want to lose control, I've been waking up in the woods again. I just try to get back before you notice. I usually do, but what happens when I shift in the middle of the night, no clue of what I'm doing and some random demon takes me to Lucifer? That's why I'm against this, because I have no bloody control."

"You'll be fine."

"Remember a few weeks after you found me and you and Leah got into that fight?" I ask.

"Yeah." He nods.

"That's how I feel. No control, what so ever. The slightest thing could set me off, and I wouldn't have control. I would bloody go off the rails and turn Washington into a ghost town."

"But you won't. You'll be fine."

"What makes you so bloody sure of that? Huh? Because I'd love to know, make my bloody day." I gesture for him to answer the obvious question.

"Trust me on this Elizabeth. Seriously, you'll be fine."

"You have nothing to justify that answer. You don't what what I'm truly capable of. You can't predict the future Jacob. I'm unpredictable, trust won't help anything." I state, my hands starting to heat up.

"Quit thinking like that El and you will be fine." Jasper says appearing in the doorway. "Losing control is psychosomatical. It's all in your head. You'll be fine, and I can justify my answer. Ask Alice."
