JACOB

She lays on the couch with her hair over her face and the blanket she's had since Jared made a slight joke draped over her. She been having trouble healing and dealing with control. Almost like when we found her lying in the woods, only we had no clue as of to what she was, now we know just about where she stands in supernatural means.

"Daddy?" I turn my head toward the child and lightly smile.

"Yeah, bud?" He glances at El.

"What's wrong with momma?" He asks.

"Nothing, she'll be fine." I state. Alex frowns and nods. He turns and walks toward his room. I look down at El and rub my thumb over her knuckles. Her like slightly tug up into smile before falling back. I glance at the ring on her finger and smile. Helena slowly walks in and sits on the floor in front of the door. I furrow my brows and glance out the window, snow melting off almost everything. I glance back at El and her hair turns dark brown before starting to catch fire. The fire disappears and her eyes slowly flutter open. I smile at her and she smiles back.

"Have the kids been listening?" She mumbles slowly sitting up, keeping the blanket around her. I nod.

"Yeah, they barely even left their rooms." I reply gently squeezing her hand. El looks over at Helena and raises an eyebrow.

"What do you see Helena?" El asks moving to stand. Helena whips her head toward El.

"Don't stand, it's nothing." Helena stands up and glances at the door before walking to her room. El looks at me shocked.

"What the hell is going on?" She breathes. I place my hand on her cheek and force a smile. "Jake, what's going on?" I lightly shake my head.

"I don't know." I answer then slide my hand away.

ELIZABETH

I close my eyes and run my hand through my hair. I drape the blanket over my shoulders and look out the window. A slab of snow slides off the roof as the sun shines through the sky. My eyes change color and my hair ignites. It all changes back and I cock my head to the side.

"Honey, are you okay?" Jake asks leaning against the wall near the kitchen. I blink and turn my head toward him.

"Yeah, yeah I'm fine." I nod and glance back out the window. I watch him walking toward me from the corner of my eyes.

"What do you see?" He sits beside me.

"It's not what I see, it's what I hear." I state keeping my gaze focused out.

"Well, then what do you hear?" He lightly nudges my side.

"Voices." He smirks and wraps an arm around my waist.

"Please tell me that I'm not going to have to enroll you into a psyc ward." Jake groans. I laugh and lean my head back against him.

"No promises, hot shot." I smirk. He rolls his eyes and we kiss.

"Kiss me, or kill me, either way you lose."

We pull back and I slightly smirk.

"You just heard something again, didn't you?" Jake asks.

"Yeah, I heard it a few weeks ago too, after the electricity thing, it was a bunch of stuff but only bits and pieces. Honestly, I think it has something to do with the dagger and the stone." I reply.

"Are you sure?"

"100%."
